Was about to post Killie 1-0 up at Tynecastle but it's now 2-0. Same score to Kris Commons against Hamilton.

HT 1-0 - at least I have some NPL points this week. Ceptic winning 1-0 as Hamilton maintain their position in the trap door. Both other games 0-0

Celtic vs Rangers
Having watched the game live out here, it wasn't a good advert for Scotland and Scottish football. Lots of passion, but probably no worse a match for bad tackles and misbehaviour than the Milan Spurs game. Referee did nothing wrong, but would expect Booghera to get a lengthy ban for manhandling him each time he took a card out. The only booking that may have been slightly out of order may have been Whittakers (but was he booked then as a warning after several other "tough tackles" I agree with the consensus that they both need to be hit in the pocket, so next OF games behind closed doors. In future would home fans only, be the way forward - less chance of confrontation. Good to see that Ceptic will be without Brown, Wilson and I think Majstorovic for the QF

tuffy starts for northern ireland v scotland
I thought Tuffey had quite a good game and was let down badly by his defence. Nearly got to Millers first, the mishit cross would have fooled most keepers, and badly exposed for the third. He did make a number of decent saves in a game where Scotland played better than I have seen for many years. The number of call offs among the Irish squad made a decent Scottish squad, that should improve, look really good as the Irish played like strangers who had just met.

ICT v Morton GAME ON
Well done Tommy. Having arrived home on Thursday to snow and sleet and rain I had my doubtsI would be getting to see a game. Now all we need are some goals. Come on the Jaggies.

Almost feel sorry for Elgin not getting a replay. Sounds like the pressure paid off at the death.

Watching Man U v Sunderland. Two candidates for man of the match Berbatov for 2 goals and loads of shots and Craig Gordon, who has made some stunning saves, mostly from Berbatov strikes.
