Want a real headbanging footstomping night go see Blazin Fiddles. What these guys can do with a fiddle is something else.
Ironworks 16th November!
-
See you all there - bring them on!
:angel13:

Me too!

Peat Bog Faeries were absolutely brilliant!
What a venue - do they have a mailing list?
-
Surely more like minor adjustments, Mrs PB..?? All we want is to see them produce their away form at home.... I'm sure CC & Donald will sort it out.... :003: :003:
I've said it before on another post, I agree with IHE (but I hear you can get medication for that now!) :003:
Shake the team up, drop Dods and Black, Bring back Caff & Russelldinho
Who was there on the post to fend of the Scumdee Utd attack - oh yeah - Russelldinho!
-
NO - but big changes need to be made!

I'm not arsed that Charlie doesn't pat the players on the back - the players are grown men, not bairns. Roy Keane wrote in his autobiography that when he played for Nottingham Forest he made a mistake and at half time Brian Clough punched him in the face in the dressing room, it hardly did him or NFFC any harm.
Yes, because Roy Keane is a completely balanced individual isn't he! :017:
Brewster did his motivating on the park, when he started to lace up his boots, *rses started to shift and the game was lifted.
It even happened with our guys against them, the minute he came on, they had this "He's not getting past me mentality".
Charlie obviously can't do that, so he needs to be more vocal - IMHO!

You are! :blah01:

Sorry to go a bit off topic, but there's some pretty good Drama's on at the mo.
Did anyone see Lower Winter Sun or Murphy's Law?
Absolute class - James Nesbitt is superb - they should turn that into a film!
-
Has to be Tattie soup - huge chunks of Tattie, spoon practically standing by itself in the soup!
Me Mum makes "fairy toast" too, you get a slice of bread, slice it so it's half the width, then toast it.
Lovely and crispy, perfick with the soup.

28th September
We're off to see The Peat Bog Faeries there on Saturday - really looking forward to it!

As for comments made about lack of passion from the bench compared to John Hughes who was going ballistic every 5 seconds, it didn't make Falkirk play any better did it?.
I absolutely do think it makes a difference, are you telling me it wouldn't have made an ounce of difference to Man Utd if Fergie just sat there doing his knitting?
It's too late to give them a b*llocking after the match - they need support during the game!
It's too early to call for Charlie's head, I agree with that. But it was yet another disappointing home result.
When is our dismal home record going to get sorted out? Not even the players themselves know why we are so poor at home!
-
You tell me where the goals are coming from then! :007:

I don't wish to bash CC - that's not my intention at all, but............
There's a few things that annoy me about him.
Why does he not pat the players on the back after taking someone off when making a sub?
We sit right beside the away dug out and so far every other manager has done it.
Surely it's basic team morale building! Can't feel good to them to get taken off, with no signal
from the manager at all. Fair enough if the player has had a howler and thrown a tantrum, but he blanks them everytime!
For the cup games, we've made a point of moving around the main stand to try to get a different
point of view. I have to be honest, CC stands with his arms crossed and is barely animated. Parkie on the otherhand
is up and down, screaming his lungs out and looks like he's about to expode! At first I though it was good cop
bad cop, CC may have his own mannerisms and when he does shout the players know it's serious!
But last night, even DP stayed in the dugout, competely frustated!
It's nights like last night that make you want to chuck yout season ticket over the Kessock!
A very deflated

Sadly, I absolutely agree. We were also praying that it didn't go to extra time.
What an absolute load of cr@p to have to watch! Paid for the privilege too!
I really don't know where the next goal is coming from, Wilson looks good, but he's too
busy tracking back, covering up for people.
What was the feckin point of making three subs with 10 minutes to go!
A very angry

You can invite 6 famous people to a Dinner Party, who would they be and why?
I'll go first....
1. Dan Brown - author of The Da Vinci code - did he write the **** book or not?
2. Gordon Ramsay - someone's got to cook!
3. Jo Brand - she'd burp n fert all over the place - would look like an Angel next to her!
5. Dario Franchitti - Scottish IndyCar Driver - bet he's got some stories!
6. Billy Connolly - perfect for me diet - too busy laughing to eat!

To me, Barry is the conundrum.... Did he just not play yesterday, or did he not get too much in the way of service..?? - I think mostly the latter.... Last week against Motherwell he had a part in all four goals....
Yesterday, he hardly delivered one decent cross.....
How come he is a completely different player away from home..?? How come the whole team seems to be so much more attack minded when playing away..?? It's not just simply a case of defending for long spells, and then hitting their opponents on the break.... they are just much more comitted to going forward when away, which definitely surprises the opposition....
Barry spent quite a bit of the game covering up and tracking back to cover Roscoe's mistakes. The pair of them had a right ding-dong about it!
I'm with IHE, drop Black, drop Dods - bring Russelldinho and The Caff back!
-
We've only got 3 stands though - surely it's up to the Main Stand to make up for that.
Give the players something to play for - after all they run out facing a feckin pie stand!
We sit right behind the Away Dug-out - few noisy ones beside us - not much heckling -
more screams of anguish! :007:
Whatever Parkie's got - bottle it and send it out with the Season tickets!
The man is a legend!

Here here! :025:

He threw a wee tantrum when CC took him off against Dumbarton - maybe he's been taught a lesson!

2 x PB's!
