  1. We saw the Coia's not so long ago....I've a funny feeling they are still around!  :004:

One of the things that puts me off is you have to scroll through so many threads and arguments now, the site is a victim of it's own success!  Shame!  PB doesn't post, and I rarely do.  You could never get us off the old site!

I get the feeling folks are a bit more disillusioned with it all now, we were always the underdog, I remember going

to Hampden thinking "how the heck did this happen"!  Them were the days!

  2. I couldn't believe it when he came on...talk about taking the p***!

Just sat through that pile of s***, and then on comes No 13!

Rory just isn't an SPL player - he's far too lazy!  Anyone can look sharp in 5 minutes....

give him a few more and his usual swagger would have surfaced!

If you are going to give youngsters a chance, surely Zander deserves it first?

  3. Under 21 rule is an absolute nonsense.  Just seems to me to give some youngsters false hopes of playing in the First Team before they are ready. Sitting on the bench making up the numbers helps no-one.  We need guys like Zander out there on loan to other clubs, learning his craft, so he can come back, fitter, stronger and ready to have a decent crack at the SPL.

So what's the answer then?  How do you give the youngsters a chance, but keep it realistic?

Would it be better to reduce it to one under 21 per squad?  Quality not quanity?  Give the others a chance to get stronger first?

  4. I'd personally like to see Barry go out on a high - testimonial year and all that!

Rather than half heartedly sign another year and struggle with fitness and getting a place.

Don't think Hibs will take Patti - not really had a chance to show what he can do,

don't think they'd take the risk!

  5. It would certainly be a far more boring team without Russelldinho, yes he is frustrating at times, but by heck he can hold that midfield together and bully for the ball when he wants to.  Moments of deep frustration and superb innovation all from the same boots...and usually the same 90 mins!!!  :015: :015:

We need Duncan, especially with Rankin gone.  We should be prepared to invest more in key players in the team we have got, that have shown loyalty, rather than putting the Rankin money on the table for others outside the club!

Yes, Niculae has high wages, but we need to create opportunities from that for marketing/merchandising opportunities.  If we finish Top 6 - Niculae has paid for himself!!!  If by any miracle we finish Top 5, we potentially get some European action.....more revenue!!!!  How do we get there without a player like him!

I don't buy this Inverness are a diddy team and should know their place bollox - DARE TO DREAM!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, but I don't believe Marius is a huge disruptive influence.  Pele's boys are slowly but surely being replaced.  Every team needs to move on, and have a natural progression.  I think it's brought to the surface problems that have been there for quite some time, perhaps in the way we conduct business?

We need to start thinking SPL, Marius is a superb addition, which we need to cement further, by offering decent cash to others to support him and really take us somewhere!!!

  6. Squad rotation, might make Barry a bit hungrier, which can't be a bad thing!

I don't think Brewster is being anti-Wilson, just trying to keep everyone on their toes,

and rotate players a bit.  Keep things from getting stale.

I was pleased to see Hart given a chance at Aberdeen, why not?

We'd only be cutting off our nose to spit our face if we left him out due to past events,

especially if he's performing in training and the reserves.  We don't have the luxury or finances

to be able to leave performing players out!

    Mrs PB

  7. It's just absolutely tragic!

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.  My heart just goes out to them!

From what they are saying on Sky Sports News, the sub was a tactical one, he hadn't even signalled he wanted to come off, all very sudden.

    God Bless

    PB's
