  1. Thought Sutherland tried to make Terry look an idiot saying they werent being bullied, and he should stay out of the politics.

It would've been a great opportunity for him to back his comments and make the point that ICT, as a whole, were opposed to the new 10 team proposal. But, nope.....arse.

  2. There's no way there's not going to be a 10 team league, regardless of the level of supporter discontent. The OF want it, and what they want, they get. When it comes, I think the game here will lose even more fans than it is now. Me included. I can think of nothing duller than watching the same 9 teams 4 times a year.

At the end of the day, the only way the clubs will listen is if the fans hit them in the pockets. A mass stay away from the games should be organised by all supporters clubs across the country. Pick a weekend, fans stay away, grounds are empty, clubs lose cash....the publicity created would be enormous. But it'll never happen. So, onwards to the death of Scottish football.

  3. Am I missing something here? Since when did Adam become so good? Yep, he banged in a fair few goals last year, and he's got a few already this year (how many have been penalties though?), but I don't think he's improved massively. He still mistimes his jumps, he's not great in the air, and he misses as many as he scores.

I'm not knocking him at all, and I hope he stays, but he's nowhere near as good as all the hype surrounding him at the moment.

  4. Awful first half, second half marginally better.

How Eric still gets a game is beyond me. Woeful again. And Duff moves like a snail on mogadon in midfield. He seems to need an age on the ball.

Dani has to get more game time. His finish was excellent, and his nod down for the second was perfectly placed.

I dunno if I was disappointed we scored so late on or not, I was quite looking forward to a midweek replay.

Plus points were the youngsters...Ross and Shinnie were both excellent, and I've been impressed with Sutherland every time he's come on.

And a special mention for their keeper, who despite resembling an overfed hippo, pulled off some fantastic saves.

  5. Worst game I've seen this season. Both teams were crap. It's hard to imagine how bad we were for those not there.

Dropping Duncan and Foran was a mistake. Cox did well enough, and even though I'm not his biggest fan, it was a bizarre decision to hook him for Shane. Duff should've been replaced, he was awful. His passing was even worse than Russells, and he spent the entire game jogging around the pitch. Mind, most of the team seemed to playing as though they didn't want to waste any energy.

Up front....Eric just isn't good enough I'm afraid. He has no control, and gets brushed off the ball far too easily. Gil was even worse.

We improved when Foran came on, he should've been on from the start.

If it hadn't been for Esson (again), then it couldve been a lot worse.

  6. Agree with Rig. I thought both Tokely and Munro were awful last night, and they got torn a new one by the strength and speed of the Killie attack. Surely they must've learnt by now that just hoofing it up the park is going to result in the ball coming straight back to them.

Funny how we all see it differently. I actually thought Shinnie had a great game!

  7. Watching us take a throw in is cringworthy!! Why can't someone just take it quickly to someone in space? The way we attach two men to markers, who then try make a bit of space, is baffling.

Work on crosses too. Not just corners. Our final ball into the box is dreadful most of the time.

Stop playing two midfielders who play pretty much the same way. Especially when neither can pass, and one isn't upto this standard.

Get the attacking midfielders to support Rooney quicker. The gap between Adam and the rest gives him no chance of holding the ball up for that amount of time. While he's improved dramatically, Rooney is a long way from the hype surrounding him at the moment. If he was getting proper, quick, support from the rest, then he'd improve his own game far quicker.

  8. St Mirren fully deserved their win. We were fortunate to have the lead for as long as we did, and their equaliser was always on the cards before half time. Too many aimless punts up to Rooney, and too many misplaced passes from midfield. They dominated midfield and picked up every second ball. Higdon and Dargo had Tokely and Munro in their back pockets, and if it hadn't been for Esson, the game would've been over long before it eventually was.

A bad day at the office, just hope Hayes is back for Weds, as we seriously missed his creativity.

  9. Good game. First half we controlled I thought. Stunning strike from Hayes, though it was pretty much all he did in the first half. We had a couple of other chances, and we could easily have gone in at ht 2 up.

Second half...they gubbed us to be honest, and their goal had to come. We seemed to stand off them to much, and seemed very nervous in our own box. There were times when a big hoof up the park was all that was needed, but we seemed intet on trying to play our way out of the box, which often resulted in us giving possession straight back to them. Looked a clear dive for the pen, but Esson proved his worth again.

Only negatives for me were Eric, who was woeful. And we just didn't get Hayes into the game at all. It was easy to forget he was playing at times.

  10. That's the best I've seen us this season. We controlled the game for long spells, and if we'd taken our chances we could've had 6 or 7 easily. Brown made a few fantastic saves as well, and Richie was unlucky not to get himself a first half hat-trick.

Every player was immense, and other than 2 very sloppy goals, it's hard to be critical. Hayes certainly made up for his woeful back pass by playing two stunning passes to help Rooney get his hat trick.

    Great performance...10/10

  11. That's the worst I've seen us away this year. When they equalised, I felt sure Aberdeen would go on to win it, but.... :rotflmao:

Esson was outstanding, again. His save in the six yard box from the low driven cross, being the best of a whole series of great saves.

Munro, and Tokely were solid. Munro would've been my MOTM if it hadn't been for Esson. Both McCann, and Shinnie were caught out of position far too often, and while he looks a great prospect, I think we need a bit more experience at left back. Last night, and against Motherwell on Sat, I felt both teams targetted him....and to be brutally honest, he's been given a torrid time in both games.

Strange decision for the penalty. If it'd been against us I'd have been raging. These are the type of incidents that happen at every corner, and normally the ref will stop play, tell the players to cut it out, and retake the corner. Still, good on him!!

  12. Really enjoyable game I thought. Could quite easily have ended 4-4. I was really impressed with Motherwell, best team I've seen up here this season. Shinnie will be having a few nightmares about their winger, he gave him a torrid time.

First half, I thought we played really well, getting Hayes on the ball a lot. Second half...he disappeared from the game, and we were a poor second in every department I thought. It wasn't until Sutherland came on that we picked it up again, and we could've quite easily grabbed an equaliser towards the end. Still, no shame in losing to them, and we played a big part in a really entertaining game.
