  1. Agree with Joe, what a load of nonsense.

    I mind when Dundee Utd were up here a few years back, needing to win to survive. Robson's penalty saw a pitch invasion, pretty sure there was one one at the end too. Don't remember any fuss about those scenes, and rightly so.

    Last Saturday was just sheer enjoyment. There was no malice involved, and the folk on the pitch cleared themselves off it very quickly. It seems like every ounce of enjoyment and fun is being kicked out of football. Next we'll have wee printed sheets stuck to our seats telling us the dos and donts at every match. Going to a match is in danger of becoming a totally soulless experience.

  2. So the only ones I've not seen mentioned as being offered new contracts (that's not to say they haven't, or won't be, offered one) are Bulvitus, Djebi-Zadi, Eagle, and Stratford.

    Of those I'd certainly keep Bulvitus, as he's improved as the season's progressed, and he's still very young.

    Eagle....thought he was mince when I first saw him, but he's done well in the latter part of the season, so aye, I'd give him a chance.

    Lionel, Stratford....nah.

    No idea what the position with the younger players like Duff, Morrison etc is.

  3. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

    So what if there were a couple of pitch invasions. I've seen other teams fans do it enough at our ground, and there's never been any comebacks.

    Yesterday was just a brilliant craic, certainly the best atmosphere I've been in at an away game. People were there to party, we've just won a league no one gave us much of a chance with...at the first attempt too.

    I'm not normally that vocal when it comes to games, but even I'd lost my voice on the train home last night. I thought the invasions were brilliant, there was no malice, the stewards handled it well, and no one complained. It was't even mentioned in most of todays papers. It's been a rollercoaster season, and people can celebrate how they like. If that means invading the pitch, then good on them....same as next week. Tell you what, I was proud being an ICT fan yesterday.

  4. Not seen Morrison play before yesterday, didn't even know who he was when the game started. What a game he had though, I was really impressed with him, and the goal he scored was just class. Hopefully there'll be lots more to come.

    Everyone gets 10/10 after yesterday, but just thought he deserved a big :rolleyes:

  5. I think everyone was waiting for us to falter, and to have dropped two points against Raith that day would've given our challengers a major boost. It was the way we just piled everyone forward for the last 10 minutes, there was a real determination from the players to not let the momentum slip. I just couldn't see us slipping up after that game.

  6. When was the last time that ICT picked up more points at home rather than away in a season - even this year it is going to be a very close call :

    HOME = P 17 W 10 D 4 L 3 F 35 A 20 PTS 34

    AWAY = P 17 W 9 D 6 L 2 F 29 A 12 PTS 33

    Not sure of the answer, but to concede just 12 goals in 17 away games is some record!
