  1. I'm all for being positive, but when we have to endure home performances like Ayr, and that pile of ***** yesterday, then it's hard.

I've taken a mate in with me to both home games, because he loves his football, and stays too far away from his home team. Don't think he wants to come in again as, in his words, they're fecking mince!! Bit hard to argue with that after yesterday.

  2. Great game. We certainly had the better chances to win it. Cox should've got a second when through on Bullock, and Foran forced a fantastic save. Much better than last week, with nearly everyone getting pass marks.

The only downside was Eagles...he was mince, and has been everytime I've seen him.

Good point, though slightly disappointed we didn't take all three. Didn't think Dundee looked anything special at all. Infact, in Harkins they've got pretty much a one man team.

  3. Massive game next week, after the disappointment of yesterday. Seeing as everyone seems to think Dundee will walk away with the league it'd be brilliant if we gave them with a reality check.

Be great to see the same numbers, or more, that were at EEP. So who's going?

    Me+3

  4. Thought we were going to win easily after we dominated the first 15 minutes but then we just seemed to run out of ideas. And then never looked like scoring.

We seemed to want to walk the ball into the net, and to see so many clear cut shooting opportunities wasted in favour of another pass was frustrating. In saying that, we played some pretty nice stuff at times, and it was a welcome change to see the ball being played on the deck.

The two wingers were both absolutely mince. Especially the wee fat one (Hayes?).

Oh well, bring on next week.

  5. You can't beat them!! And yesterday's was just the best. So much better than scoring early on then playing out the rest of the game.

Trying to think of other injury time winners we've had....can only think of Dargo against D Utd a few years back.

  6. Well said.

Foran and Morais were the two I really wanted to sign new contracts. Richie already has, so if Morais did as well....well, I reckon those two would be head and shoulders above anyone else in this division.

Go on Filipe, you know it makes sense :P

  7. How come the signings of the likes of Hart and Kerr has suddenly turned Dundee into THE team?? Surely if all these players they've signed were so good then they'd have gone to much bigger and better clubs than Dundee.

For what it's worth I think we'll be right up there, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was someone like the Pars challenging us, rather than Dundee. We've still got pretty much our SPL squad from last season, and that experience will be crucial.

Get the midfield sorted and we'll come straight back up I reckon.

It's the signings of the divisions top striker in Griffiths and (possibly) Particks main midfield man Harkins that is causing people to sit up and take note and be very wary of Dundee.

The point is though RIG, if these players are so good, why didn't, for example, an SPL team come in for them?
