  1. The problem that all Premiership clubs have if they get relegated, at least one of Hibs, Hearts and another team I forget the name of, will still be in the Championship. Plus the other teams down there have financial benefit of these 3 visiting this year. Going down this season could mean a long time trying to get back up.

  2. I hope the humble pie I am eating at the moment is big enough to last me to the end of the season. Yesterday's performance was as good as I've seen for a long time. Solid, effective and at times very pleasing on the eye. The fact that 4 different M.O.M's have been given in different quaters of the media shows it was impressive all round. Mmm I'm hungry for more!!

  3. Hull showed that £3m is nothing to any EPL team and they would pay this for a prospect. Ryan has the best sort of advisors close to him and I am sure everything that is best for Ryan and the club will be done.

  4. I think the game has been covers by most so just a couple of points. First of all how quickly can the referee's go on strike please? Plus what was going on in the Supporters bar before the game. There were so many drunk Dundee fans in there I think they may have to rethink the away supporter rule.

  5. I don't think anyone wants Hughes to fail. I have met Yogi on numerous occasions , before and since he became the manager, and I like him a lot finding him knowledgeable, funny and interesting. I'm just not convinced by the tactics he wants to play but hope above hope that he's right and I'm totally wrong and I think a lot of people feel the same.

  6. If anyone has read any of my posts about Yogi you may be surprised by my take on this.

I think his interviews can come over very differently when written down than in the way it was actually said. It's hard to show a smile or a tongue in cheek remark that has been implied when in the written press.

  7. You never want to read too much into friendlies but the way we've played in the games I have seen gives me real cause for concern. If this was last season I would be more confident of us somehow finding a winning goal to grab a win but I just don't see where that is coming from right now. Our build up play is so slow and negative it gives opposition players plenty of time to get in behind the ball and block our route to goal. We don' have players that can glide past opponents like Andrew Shinnie and we rely on quick breaks and balls into space for players to chase. We've stopped doing that and look significantly poorer for it.

I'd take a draw and be pretty happy with that at the minute. Is Draper injured / suspended by the way?

Drapes had a stomach strain but was getting fitness tests at half time on Saturday
