I cannot see him going. it would be very odd to allow Butcher to release players from Easter Road that he didn't fancy only to punt him a week or so later. I suspect he will be getting told exactly what is expected of him next season and when he needs to have done certain things by or what budgets he has to work with.

Football Forums
Nareystoepoker is run by a poster on here called hislopsoffsideagain. It's a good read. I'd also recommend having a look at The Terrace which, whilst not a football forum, has a lot of interesting articles on their site as well as a pretty well informed podcast that is recorded twice a week during the season. Most of the guys on it now support teams in the lower leagues but their opinions are normally spot on. SPLStats on Twitter is probably quite well known to most but Craig Anderson also has a website as well which has a few blogs on there as well. Finally, Andrew Southwick runs The Away End which covers a wide range of sports. Football coverage seems to have taken a back seat from what I can recall but could be worth checking out.

Season tickets
Is the measure of how good / well run a club is based on criteria like "how many stands do they have?" Airdrie have a ground with four sides / stands. Are they a better side / better run than us?

Summer transfer targets
James Keatings is leaving Hamilton. Bagged 11 goals in the league last season which isn't too bad considering he was battling with MAC and Scotland for a starting berth. Not fully clued up on him but he might be useful as a back up for Mckay.

Gunning also isn't very good. He would be 4th choice at best in our defence.

Tudor-jones a hibee
His penalty was very good.

Summer transfer targets
Surprised no one has mentioned Paul McGowan who is being let go by Saint Mirren. On his day he could be a real thorn in our side. I was impressed by him in the match in Paisley back in December but he has had a few off field issues recently and his performances over the last few months have been below par by all accounts. Maybe that's why no one has mentioned him!

Hibs Players
No lover of McPake but you could show videos of Warren, Meekings, Tremarco, Foran, Tansey and Watkins all doing similar last season. But I agree McPake is gash. The difference is that Foran, Meekings et al. don't do it on a regular basis. Well, maybe Tremarco and to a lesser extentForan. Bit a liability.

Hibs Players
McPake? He is utter pish. He flies into far too many reckless challenges after giving the ball away or as a result of poor positioning or just a general inability to interpret situations without someone painting him a picture first. One of those defenders who thinks a nice big thundering challenge is the order of the day at any point during the game. Here is a classic McPake challenge (40 seconds in)

Recognition from Rob McLean
Did you read what his definition of 'unsung' was though? Maybe a bad choice of word but I got the point. I did. His final paragraph seems to contradict things some what when he talks about "some of the top performers from the season gone by, outwith the usual suspects." Some of these players are the ones who you would expect big things from even if they weren't nominated for awards. Some of those guys are widely regarded as their teams best players or won their teams player of the season. That said someone like Steven McLean at Saint Johnstone would meet what he sets out to do but I feel a large number of his selections don't.

I would take OTJ back and perhaps Stanton. All the rest are brutal especially that haddy McGivern.

The offer could simply be to take him away from the club on a free. I would take him.

Season tickets
I didn't get any vouchers with my season ticket but I see on the ICT site you can request them. I doubt I'd use them anyway. Anyone want to buy them? Say for £50?

Vote for Doran
McGinn won it for his effort(s) v Hibs.

Fans get together
I'd be happy to try and help but I couldn't lead on this I'm afraid. If I did I would hold it in Aberdeen so I didn't have far to go!

Fans get together
In all seriousness I think it is a good idea. Some people will want to remain behind their usernames so as long as you don't go up to folk saying "Hi I'm '12th Man' are you RiG?" I think you'll be okay. I would suggest you do something for one of the World Cup games and go to the pub or a pre season friendly meet up?
