  1. Did we sell Wyness and Bayne??? Thought they signed on a pre-contract we showed them the door.
  2. for me the brewster situation and whether he should have had the bullet sooner is secondary to finding the reasons behind why we find ourselves here. i blame the board firstly for the sale of players like nicolae, wyness, and bayne etc and not taking in replacements able to supply the goals which would have seen us clear of all this
  3. from what i can figure a point on sat will see both us and killie safe.lets just hope both sets of players and management agree  i still feel a bit uneasy that killie are so due a win over us its not true plus hate playing falkirk at the best of times let alone in a last game decider so bring on a big nil nil on sat please
  4. i feel sick. blow the feckn whistle ref
  5. about what we deserve for not taking our chances by the sounds of it
  6. if we play like that every week and win then i'll take it. beats the feeling of losing every week anyway
  7. what hasn't helped either is that the press have it in for the refs at the moment and are always looking for the next big controversial decision so they can go on about the standard of refereeing. yes we do have some bad refs but the ref on sat was blasted in the press for changing his mind about the penalty and having a nightmare when in actual fact he should have been praised for not awarding an undeserved penalty
  8. you could understand, almost, that the sunday papers would report it as a lucky break and should have been a penalty.i myself and others near where i sat initially thought it looked to be a penalty but having seen it again i realised immediately it obviously wasn't even nearly a penalty so for the press to still come out with crap like that on a monday or tuesday is sloppy, lazy journalism and the courier is one of many guilty papers to toe that line.
  9. that'll do. hope we get a decent crowd this time go all the way
  10. that'll do for me
  11. look, many killie fans made a long trip up in difficult and uncertain conditions. i can understand some folk from aberdeen and other areas not making the trip especially if reliant on public transport but the real issue is we live in a decent size city where getting down to the tcs really isn't that hard and so something else other than just the weather is to blame . would the attendance still have been pish had we been playing rangers, i doubt it somehow. we have a hardcore support of a couple of thousand, the rest are fair weather fans, no pun intended.
  12. dont think the weather played that big a part. plenty killie fans made it up
  13. aye having seen it again it was clearly outside the box and fernandez went down like he'd been shot by a rifle so justice done
  14. it wasn't a bad challenge but 9 out of ten refs would have given a free kick/penalty. fernandez is a diving overated player though and tried to make the most of it
  15. i'll reserve judgement till the highlights but from the north stand my initial thought was it was at least 3 yards inside the box and we got very lucky but looking forward to seeing it again.if it was a penalty then mihadjik would surely have seen red also so will be a sore one for killie

    Djebi-zadi

its got to be a combination of things but he's gone from not even looking like a footballer to being fantastic in two games.unlucky not to get man of the match today imo.lets see if he can be consistant too though as thats whats let him down with other clubs
  17. i'm in section e in the north aswell and you can be pretty vocal there without drawing to many funny looks although the lad in his fortys who often sits nearby with the voice like a fog horn and does a running commentary of the game tends to get some stick from time to time. anyone within about 500 yards will have heard him. personally i find him good entertainment but he does tend to wind some folk up
  18. he's a wee tube and obviously doesn't like ict. last time he was saying how there's never a good game between the two sides.idiot. his latest about how its always black etc is another cracker even for him given it was sunny and mild. i'd like to see butcher next time we visit parkhead complaining afterwards how it stinks there, the traffics awful, the people are queer and the pitch is pish.
  19. what a state their getting in down in the shire.as someone said on the radio this morning ive seen more snow on santas grotto. not long to go then and all quiet
  20. . esson tokely majestic munro zadi . morais black duncan imrie . rooney foran bit nervous about lional but seen as everyone on a clean slate i think he deserves it after a good show against the tic
  21. what time does the window close? thought it was midnight

    cowie

apparantly c*unty get 20 % of whatever we get for him
  23. Totally agree. He was outstanding today. Let's hope he gets a fair crack of the whip from our fans from now on! aye zadi has taken much stick from the fans, me included, but thought he was immense today. a few wee errors but also saved our ass a few times too.well done that man. imrie and mihadjuk were top drawer too, i love imries style.he can do your nut in at times but he gives 110 % and is capable of brilliance. bottom line for me is that its still in our hands whether we stay up and if we continue like this we'll do it.
  24. the lads fast becoming one of my favourite players already. would be royally pished off if we didn't hang on to him after all the bother we've had in replacing dods
  25. we were lambs to the slaughter under brewster but the board must shoulder the blame for the offal position we now find ourself in with waiting so long to give him the chop. we're in a stew, no doubt about it, but dont think butcher will serve up the same old baloney we've witnessed so far this season
