  1. the problem with the press etc is they haven't watched us first hand in every game this season. having seen us play every team it gives me no pleasure to say we are the worst team in the league, which really makes me wonder what the board members do on match days. people can argue about tactics, new signings and luck but the table does not lie, nor do the stats, and i draw little comfort from falkirks position because i believe they will start gathering points soon as st mirren and hamilton have recently. if we get a decent striker we'll have the players to get out of this but we just dont have the manager and thats the problem
  2. i believe the figure is near ?6.75 sterling

bennett should shut it and stick to fitting windows, at least he's not out of his depth there. sutherland needs a big reality check
  4. every player will say the same when asked by the press otherwise their out on their ear really so i dont read much into these statements
  5. how many points do you think we'll be behind after say the next four fixtures? i would say 7 wouldn't be far off the mark and that would be pretty difficult to claw back, with brewster in charge. the time is now to change the management, we will see an immediate improvement but even if it was to late and we went down fighting under a new boss i could at least give my all in support of the whole team and we can stop the infighting and knuckle down all the way to the last fixture. brewster has blown it, he will never regain the supporters backing
  6. "we find it difficult to score" .. so lets leave our top scorer on the bench, again, play 1 up front who also happens to be useless, sign defenders and wait until the last minute to bring in another striker, who at this rate will be a donkey anyway.
  7. its love me thinks

agree that the money on offer is absolutely sickening given the poverty in the world and i really would laugh if sky went down the toilet along with the epl and brought back the days when money was more realistic and players played for the jersey but its a forlorn hope probably. thing is if theyre going to persist throwing ridiculous money around and do it throughout the team they will one way or another get a hold of the best players because who can turn that money down and who can compete
  9. personally i think rooneys been our most impressive of the strikers and should have been given a run by now but with a big game coming i can see the sense in starting barrowman again for some stability but it doesn't make it right. brewster's going to get slaughtered whoever he chooses i'd say unless they score and we win but he's only got himself to blame for being a tit with this striker rotation crap he's been inflicting on us all season

would be disappointed to see him go.we've got two good keepers now and its a hard choice as to which one starts for me but mikey was close to leaving before brown left and wants first team football so if he goes i'd imagine it would be somewhere he'd be playing regular. also sad to see so many of the local lads slowly disappearing
  11. thats a laughable piece of journalism but we won and the wee jags lost so i found it quite funny. the evening express print some real guff about aberdeen too, and whilst the herald calls itself a national now its blatently for the weegies.our local press should be more biased toward us

Agree with you there, people should not be judged on the jobs that they do...unless they are taxi drivers :018: :thumb04: All I am saying is that DJS is a Driving Instructor, not a football man. He can state his views, but has no right to dictate anything to the Board. so you reckon our board are football men? djs is representing the views of many fans and your attack on him is an attack on the fans who are all entitled to be heard

nice sentiment, yet blinkered, clueless and condesending. dont see what being a driving instructor has got to do with it.just ask our board. joiners, hauliers etc etc. the supporters pay the money and are entitled to their opinion which is just as valid as the boards

we've binned many local players like hart , golabek, wilson and players who were rooted here like wyness, bayne and rankin and have also lost the spirit we once had. its no coincidence and so brewster has to do a good job with the new team in building a new team spirit which has been lacking this season. can he do it, can he feck with loan deals/short term deals and a lot of uncertain futures

got a feeling we'll get hamilton
  16. yes will be intresting to see what new signings are in store this month other than the three short term ones we've made because we certainly need some
  17. my moneys on him being gone before the window shuts
  18. given the weather and potential banana skin of lower league opposition it was a good performance.partick were pretty pish though and if thats their usual standard then its hard to see them staying near the top of the first. the lad pavel at centre half looks a good buy but i'd like to see him against quality strikers.he's big and wins a lot of headers, no nonsense stuff.always played the simple pass which is good and was our best defender today. morais too had a great debut and looks a real pain in the erse to play against.quick, tricky and full of energy.many hibs fans feel his final ball lets him down but time will tell. didnt see enough of thierry gattuessie but did nothing wrong anyway. zadi confirmed he is out of his depth and was probably on just to give hastings a boot up the erse. tokely didn't have his best game ever and was caught out of position many times.while he gives us a threat going forward i think he'd be better making a concious decision to solely concentrate on defending and we'd be better off all round. cowie was disappointing again for me with only flashes of his undoubted ability on show and gave the ball away too often. great goal from vigurs though.about time we seen some goals and a long time since i left a game not depressed:)
  19. aye but how many new guys are match fit.
  20. while rory is a proven goalscorer
  21. TSTtiger replied to tm4tj's topic in Caley Thistle
just like in 2002 when they knocked us out in the replay also.
  22. aye should be. you should just buy one over the phone and pick it up when u get there
  23. as are we. only difference being thomson was a football man with the clubs best interest at heart
