  1. great player, gives a toss too which cant be said of others, still not hit top form but also lacking a quality player to play alongside. today he played really well i thought
  2. Aye, good one. if better than normal means going from dire to poor then your probably right, on the whole the team improved from dire to pretty pish today i thought so maybe thats a positive?? :(
  3. tbh i find it difficult to pick out the good perfomers and the bad ones these days seen as i'm so used to watching bland, boring, toothless garbage and i would say esson is the only one i would like to keep at the minute
  4. we'll all fit in the dug out at this rate, i'm not going unless theres a major turnaround starting next week
  5. Yes but that will not change, they all got away with the Brewster/relegation fiasco and they will sit and watch as we sink lower and lower. The will not give up their positions as who would stoke their over inflated egos in the Heathmount then. agreed, very depressing really
  6. i dont think tactical ineptitude even comes in to it, dont see any other manager sending out a much different side or formatiion, the ineptitude is from the players performance and general quality
  7. this is the same board that left it far far far too late to ditch the brewster clown so i wouldn't hold your breath for any quick decisions on the management front, anyway for me its the board and david sutherland that are to blame for our current position in the gutter
  8. back from the game and getting really hacked off with the pish we produce every week. on the face of it the scoreline did flatter queens but we, as usual , look absolutely devoid of any attacking flair and you get what you deserve when you cant score goals. obviously we have a major confidence issue too but that reflects on the management also who at this stage look out of ideas and decent players
  9. if that is the case, it will slowly slip down the board until it reaches the obscurity of page 2 of the topic list ...... we close topics when they are duplicates, when they break our rules, or when they get out of hand. This one doesnt fit into any of those categories. not run its course maybe but off topic anyways, i blame the pikeys
  10. we won which is a bonus, but i'd swap it for a home league win in a flash. for me we're still pumping too many high ball to foran and to many players are being bullied off the ball in midfield.our back four looked a bit short of pace against some nippy minker forwards but clean sheet anyhow. hayes is our best new signing out of the bunch, not sure about the rest yet. ryan esson take a bow, he's playing out of his skin at the minute.good show from foran also. duncan's passing was pish at times but we need his grit in midfield, just put mcbain beside him. a lot of improving to do yet but at least the players seemed up for the fight today
  11. anyone remember the mock job advertisement for the then vacant managers job in dungwall? that was pretty funny also
  12. cheers ^
  13. just out if interest, what exactly are bots and spiders and what do they do ? whats the difference between the malicious ones and the harmless ones? i feel a whoosh coming :022:
  14. Was it not the players last season? I see no difference between this season and last season other than the quality of opposition being lower. Our team has been dismantled in order to rebuild. Our last venture in the First followed a few years building a team up and progress through the SFL, we can not and will not emulate that in one season with a new team. The back bone of the club has gone and TB will select his own team. Butcher can talk the talk, but has yet to walk the walk. it was brewster last season, butchers points haul in the little time he was there would have seen us easily safe if replicated over the course of the season, but your right about little difference between this season and last at home anyway
  15. right, cant be ersed depressing mysel trawling through all the comments on here but will put in my tuppence worth. very few players can come out of that with pass marks. esson, hayes, shinnie and ross did ok from where i sat. the rest, well just get a grip please. there's a distinct lack of bollox on show out there every week, half of them think they just have to turn up to win and the other half just aren't good enough on current evidence. if they give there all and lose then you can forgive it but the gutless crap i've been watching at home is enough to bring tears to the eye. ball watching, unchallenged headers, no movement or link up from midfield to attack, defense completely in disarray for two of the goals yesterday, inability to make the most simple pass and most frustrating of all absolutely toothless up front and in midfield.yes we had a lot of possetion in the first half hour, but we did nothing with it. but then hey presto we're 3 down and the players decide they better take their fingers out of their erses and try and play before they get embarrassed again a la county. their first was lucky, the second was an error from duncan, but why the hell was he playing centre half with no defender in sight?by the time the third went in we'd totally lost the plot. theres a real monkey on the backs in repect to our home form, away form is decent on the whole.until we score first and relax a bit that'll continue. shoot into north stand from kick off please, every little helps as they say.
  16. would have liked to see robbo replace brewster last christmas but the tubes upstairs bottled that one.dont have much beef with butcher at the minute, he deserves at least a full season for god sakes, its the players that are taking the pish with the gutless displays we've been witnessing for too long now
  17. as long as he's past his sell by date when he plays us. personally i dont think he's past it at all, just needing regular games and confidence, something lacking at midden and when he left us
  18. it would be a tad harsh to label any off the new signings as not up to it at this stage, they've all had good games and bad ones so far, and so has the whole team. basically we cant string two decent results together to save ourselves and i think thats a lot down to the team not gelling yet and a lack of experience in midfield, so would agree with sentiment above...take duncan and mcbain out of cold storage and let them get stuck in and lead some of the new lads
  19. like this would be good
  20. what do you say to an airdrie fan with a good looking girl on his arm.............. nice tattoo what do you call an airdrie fan with lots of girlfriends.............. a shepard what do airdrie fans use as birth control................... their personalities why do airdrie fans whistle when on the toilet........... so they know what end to wipe what have airdrie and a nappy got in common............... pish up front , sheeeeiiite at the back how do you kill an airdrie fan when he's drinking............. slam the toilet seat on his head what do you call an airdrie fan with no arms or legs................ trustworthy
  21. old firm, motherwell, partick and st mirren can gtf
  22. good news , apart from duff :028: think we should get a second opinion on barrowman though, i think he'd benifit from about 9 months in plaster
  23. any chance of getting this stickied. should make for good entertainment in the coming months :028:
  24. home form has for quite some time been somewhere between patchy and pish. if we're to win the league again thats got to change pretty rapidly. its hard to say what exactly is the cause,.. atmosphere, more pressure, different mindset/style of play etc have been muted as the cause but whatever it is we should be putting it right now. we've tried playing in the away tops before but i'd like to see us shoot into the bridge end from the first half seen as how important the first goal can be. a few years back i'd shudder at the thought but it cant really hurt now given our home form anyway.
