For some reason I'm picturing David Sutherland screaming "Smiffy, I told you we'd accept 500,000 POUNDS!" Don't know if you were saying that as a joke but, your probably right! Why is Mike Smith in charge of it?! What a shambles the board and directors are! :029:

I was actually just using the words caleyd had used, cause I was agreeing with him. But you won't want to have an arguement with your boss! :023:

Why is this topic now "Non-ICT" :024:

Signings for ICT
One word - Wages. Chris Killen is on 10k + a week. Jackson and Stokes would be great but again, Stokes wages. Andersons wages would be too high.

merged: Adam Rooney
If we had 2 expierenced goalscorers in our squad and had Rooney on the bench every week, I would say that it was a great signing by Brewster, but like you say, if Brewster is planning on having Rooney as our main striker then he really has lost the plot. But a loan deal from a EPL side of have like 5 strikers ahead of a young player in the pecking order. It is good to send him on loan to a club like ours, not a big club but playing SPL football against teams like Celtic and Rangers, it's great for a young player like him to come to a club like ours.

The Board
Yngwie, the fact that you were sad enough to go a year back in my posts to get that. I did say that yes. But that was because I wasn't fully aware of his very poor record at Dundee Utd and I know I wouldn't have made this topic at the time, because I did think he would be an orite appointment. But now that he has proved that he is a p!sh Manager for us and clearly doesn't have a clue tactical wise or in the transfer market! But I obviously can't change my mind, even if Brewster has proved that he shouldn't be manager! I'm sorry for changing my mind. :029: , very sad but like I say you can't change your mind or sometimes even have an opinion when some mods are around. Oops I can sense a warning!

The Board
If Mourinho was available and would take a major wage cut then yes. Erm, when the job was available I remember someone suggesting, Alex Rae, he would've been a good appointment. But tbh that's not my job, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realise that Brewster was the wrong appointment and is now proving that his own way.

I agree and i'm sure everyone else does, it's a year on and we still haven't found one and don't look like finding one! :33:

Pressley
Fairly successful at Huntly isn't much is it?! But I do agree with Robbo, he was a good coach before he joined us.

The Board
If you were on the board and the position as ICT Manager was vacant. Would you even look at a Manager who left the club (didn't do that well as Manager the 1st time, fell out with most of the players, then acted like we were nothing at all in his Managerial career when he was at his new club and then was sacked for only 2 wins in 24+ games and some very poor signings and no squad moral. Would you hire that man? Just thinking about it, it really baffles the mind why we re-hired him!

Pressley
From what I've heard from players, younger ones and a very important starting 11 player that Malky is a poor coach and an utter ******! Also a major wido starting on someone I know for bumping into them on a night out and having to be pulled away. It seems, that he thinks he's great but really isn't. Bring back Parky (but we know that'll never happen) iamcaptain1, when have any of our managers had expierence?.

Pressley
Pressley - Manager Parky - Assistant Christie - Assistant Brewster - Fitness/ Coach Shearer - Coach Clellend - Coach Pele - Scout Malky- Water Boy. Perfecto!

He was poor last season and shocking away from home, he only has 1 year left on his contract, if he stays this season I think its very unlikely that he would sign a new deal. So this summer, whilst all the speculation of him leaving and clubs interested because of the Euro's probably having not seen him play away from home for us. Cash in and make a very nice profit and then the other lads moral will go up aswell. 9/10 goals last year, 2 v Arbroath and 2 v Gretna. Not good at all. I am very critical of Brew, but I agree with everyone else, he has no say in this at all so he can't be in the wrong and is probably being made to play Niculae. Marius has been a boost to the club in the fact we are getting recognised around Europe and the World from the Euro's and now teams like Kaiserslautern. But negative, on team moral (wages), the saga with Orion and now with his transfer. Adam Rooney would be an excellent signing!

Niculae
Inverness striker Marius Niculae is poised to seal a ?400,000 transfer to Dinamo Bucharest. (Daily Express) If we can hold out for a bit more, just take the money and run. He isn't as great as many make him out to be, yes he has a classy touch and skill, but he's a striker, he's paid ( a lot by our standards) to score goals and win games, he didn't do that last season, only around 10 goals and 2 of those against Arbroath. No player should/can never be or even close to be as big as the club. Take the money and bring in a few new faces hopefully.

Todays Game, St Johnstone
Highlight of the game today was knocking my mates Mars Bar out of his hand and it flying 5 rows forward.
