  1. Curry has been tipped by robbo in the p and j as being in the squad for Saturday does that mean white is being sidelined. So potentially curry and storey upfront.

  2. From my seat in the north stand on Saturday storey for me was causing the Arbroath defence problems whenever he got the ball and ran at them. They couldn't cope with his pace and he was the only player trying to play forward balls rather than turn and play back. If we can find a system which allows him the time and space to run at defences we might get more end products. White again was being beaten in the air and hasn't got the pace to trouble a defence. We should be looking for an attacking midfielder or a striker in this window as I don't see us in the playoffs with the current squad. It's to small and injuries and fatigue will soon kick in.

  3. I agree the same players robbo has said weren't up to it have had the arrogance to stall on signing new contracts with the club because they think they are better than the championship and better than ICTFC. Saturday was a reality check for them. If they can't perform for us no spl club would take a second look at them. Their performance was dire and they should be putting in performances to merit a new contract with us never mind anyone else. The players attitudes on Saturday work rate and effort wee shocking. And if I performed like that in my job I would be hauled in and put on a written warning. They are paid professionals who made a mediocre part time team look like Brazil.

  4. Id go with Gary Warren. He was a gentleman and like others have stayed was a long serving player with us through our success years and stayed during the bad. It was only the way he was treated at the end that made him leave.

  5. Storey definatley caused problems for the Arbroath defence when he was allowed to run at them on the wing. Trafford I agree with Robert there he was decent in midfield. McGregor if he can bulk up will be good in midfield and a good attacking option for us but he was to easily brushed off the ball. My selection for Dundee would be

    RIDGERS

    TREMARCO, MCCART, DONALDSON, ROONEY

    DORAN, TRAFFORD, CARSON, STOREY

    VINCENT

    TODOROV

  6. Arbroath in the first half were happy whenever we dispossessed  them to track back and sit in and defend. They didn't seem to want to get forward attack. It was our lack of pressure and silly mistakes that gave them the impetus to get their goal.

? That... was... pitiful. Sad when we lose , and Mark Ridgers is man of the match. Says it all.

And for those players  who are not signing new contracts because they think they're  better than us. Get a grip.

After that performance do we want them signing new contracts?

  8. Just read p and j article that some of our players. Donaldson, white, Trafford to name a few are deciding not to sign new deals with the club because they think they could get regular starts in the premiership. Robbo says he's concerned fans think he isn't doing enough to sign them up but makes it clear he is trying. I think these players need to have a long hard look at there inconsistent performances before getting too big headed to think they are of Polworth or Chalmers level.

Difference with English Premier League teams is that they get so much TV money, fan revenue is secondary - infact they could play to empty stadiums each week and probably see hardly any difference.

I wouldn't think losing 1.25 million every home game wouldn't be noticed. Newcastle are getting 42500 average at every home game. But still want a full house to cheer on the team.

The club is doing half season tickets now. Try and get a pal or ten to sign up for one if you can!

The Club could follow Newcastle Utd and give season ticket holders a free half season ticket to get more bums on seats.

Nice piece of fear mongering courtesy of the Daily Record...I get that we're strapped for cash, but we're a fair way away from Administration...

Agree and their lazy journalism using an image of fans at the TCS from the irn bru cup final between county and that Welsh team.
