I hope there's enough frustration and anger boiling up inside the lads to help them throw in a good performance and get the three points against Morton. Securing top four at the first possible opportunity is paramount and I'm sure that'll be the message from Robbo.

We want the last three games of the season to be used to blood the youngsters and get them some game time and to allow other players a rest.

We also need to keep pressure on Ayr as the last thing we want is for them to gain some momentum before going into a play-off tie, we've already got the measure of them and need to keep it that way.

Agree and Ayr and Dundee Utd will fear us in the playoffs as we have regularly over the season been the better of them. It would be great to finish third not only to get the extra finances but the home tie in second leg of the play off quarter final.

I have no grumbles about the performance

Just wish after the injury when we passed to their goalkeeper, which set up their  first goal, We had just booted the ball out of play. The guy next to me, actually said

at the time, it should have been played for a throw in.

    Small things change games

Billy Dodds commentating live said the hearts striker over played the ball and it went out.  So inverness shouldn't have given it back and that the Inverness players were too honest.

  3. Tuesday is the big one now we can secure a playoff spot and if we do that what a season we will have had. Semi final in Scottish cup and the possibility of promotion back to the premiership. Robbo has done an amazing job with the group of players and resources available to him This year. All round a good season.

They would also need a very significant turnaround in goal difference. A point would almost certainly be enough in practical terms.

But as we are one of the teams they still have to play a 3 nil win is 6 goals in goal difference. So a win is the only way to guarantee it.

Possibly. But as he has played so few games, there could be a potential that he's played a low wage.

We are paying around £400 a week for players now not the 2-3000 we used to be. He could go to a lesser league in England and still get paid more than that plus not moving to the other end of the country. This is unfortunately the biggest issue we have when recruiting our location.

Who else could replace White!? Is Austin not our only other striker plus what can he do when he is not on the pitch long enough to make an impact!!?

Push Doran upfront and bring in a midfielder.

    Niko Hämäläinen, MF/DF

22 y/o, American/Finnish and in the Finnish national team, making 1 appearance.

Currently playing for QPR, and been there since the time of Coll, so could link up with him.

Made minimal appearances for QPR (3 league overall), Dag and Red, and Los Angeles FC (the last two are ones he's been on loan to) and has made 6 league appearances over all club's he's played for.

I think he could be a decent player, and cheap too if we play the cards right. Or if not, a loan.

Hopefully the board take a look at him, as if he's good enough to have been called up to the Finnish National Team, he must be decent.

His wage at QPR will be more than we payed players in the premiership.

  8. We have missed coll in defence today but chalmers so unlucky with his free kick strike. Unfortunately hearts have neutralized polworth in midfield and it shows how much he has created for us through midfield over the season.

He should be OK as long as somebody reminds him that we need a sponsor for next season. Thankfully we don't need any new seats for the Main Stand.

No but we do for the South stand.

My daughter had her birthday party there. Wasn't match day, they don't do it when a game's on. FYI it's not cheap at £180 for a max of 12 kids. She really enjoyed it though.

£180 is about right through here in Aberdeen/shire and Angus if you want an organised birthday party forbthat number of kids. It's about engaging the youth as prospective fans.

Totally agree with you on this point but doesn't make me agree with the playoffs or the format anymore than I already do.

No matter how the playoffs are set up or how they could be set up, confidence would always be with the Championship side, there's nothing even about the Championship having the play 6 games and the Premiership team having to play 2.

I'm almost certain, but someone please correct me if I am wrong, that the play-offs for the Championship and League 1 are slightly different and my question is why? If I am correct then I go back to my previous point that it's all weighted towards the Premiership clubs and no one else.

It would only be the teams who finish 3rd and 4th that would play 6 games in the quarter final the winner plays the 2nd place finished in the semi and the final against the 11th placed premiership side. Looking at Dundee st mirren and Hamilton they are there to be taken.

I'm glad I'm not in the running for or being employed by the club, some of the comments and posts on here are verging on the ridiculous, you lot would have anyone hung, drawn and quartered before they start.

I'll reserve judgement and see what happens with the club between now and August this year, that should be a decent time for him to out down some roots before the start of next season. Then it'll be interesting to see what his long term plans are and how he goes about implementing them.

A smaller, more manageable outfit like ourselves may be exactly what he needs and regardless of his previous ups or downs, I'm sure his experience even to those around him will be invaluable. Stories in the media can be strung either way so I'll stay clear of reading them.

I agree with Scotty that I question whether we actually need a CEO or can afford one and for me smacks of the Chairman not wanting to be in his role, as we know already, so employing someone to do duties he should and could be doing.

If he doesn't want to be in his role why doesn't he stand down?

I’ve said on here before, and maybe the club have tried this and I’ve missed it, but I often wonder about maybe making hospitality a bit more informal from time to time. Instead of sit down meals and bars what about having some local butcher come along and cook up some burgers, have some fun kids activities indoor or outdoor, meet the players / manager before / after the game and make it just a bit more of a thing for every age of fan. Younger fans can play some football with their pals, meet their heroes and get some food, older fans can chat with players, have a drink and also get some food.

I’m surely over simplifying things and perhaps I have missed similar events in the past but just thought it’s worth mentioning regardless.

This is a great idea. I know the club have changed hospitality in the past lowered prices and content but making it more family friendly is a great idea. Could go as far as offering match day kids birthday parties. As a parent of three boys all starting football at school this would impress their mates no end.

Is it though? What do you get for your money?

Two course meal, admission to game, half time refreshments, pay bar, team lines and programme. Pretty similar product to whats on offer at ICT.  The food is far superior to that since ICT changed supplier similar in quality to red poppy.
