What the Board and the man himself said gave the fans the belief we could stay up, results started to go our way and then he blew it by trying to be a tactician. The Directors are advertising their businesses but as they are afforded time away from those businesses to deal with ICT issues it is only fair. Grass is a Director of a local Double Glazing business and also was a semi-professional footballer plying his trade in the Highland League and was a regular feature in Caledonian Thistle's 3rd division days hoofing the ball into the Inverness Firth. Corporate "Sponsors" receive an allocation of matchday tickets but this is all part of the deal struck, all players/club officials can receive tickets when requested and this is the same in every club up and down the country.

I hear Terry Butcher and Maurice Malpas did a fine job building a Motherwell team from scratch after a difficult start. Very true, however they had the benefit of Falkirks stadium being non-compliant to keep them in the SPL otherwise they'd have been in our predicament and I seriously doubt they could have gained promotion from a highly competitive first division.

John Robertson(or have you all forgot) has won TWO 1st division titles with TWO different clubs, That could well have been THREE had County not got ahead of themselves. Why shouldnt we take him back? Butcher has lost the dressing room, the support and now he's lost the plot. Dude, I don't normally disagree with you but I do on this one. Generalisations don't prove anything, and if I was abused to that degree at work, I'd have the guilty removed before it got near responding. Don't suppose TB's got that luxury. He is not entitled to turn and abuse his own support either, although some on here think it's ok.

I'd leave it to May for predictions to be on the safe side. There is no panic but the fans deserve better than they are getting. Is Butcher fulfilling his contract and realising his own potential for the benefit of this club? Or is he spreading himself too thin on the ground?
