I would just like to do a wee poll to find out who thinks the lad has what it takes to become a top striker, or do you feel he would be better of elsewhere for a season on loan, or maybe even trying him out in a totally different position? I never like losing a game of football, but to loose the first home game of the season with little or no fight, I find really quite disturbing.We were second to nearly every ball in midfield,we kept on punting high balls into the forwards where they were getting no change from a strong (and tall) Rangers defense.So I thought at half time at least the tactics would change,but no we continued with our pathetic system and in the end we were lucky not to have a shinty score put past us !! I wonder if it would be feasable to put in raised portakabin like corporate boxes in the currently un-used west side of the stadium ? I know that the main stand boxes are very popular,and in the bigger games I am sure that there would be plenty of interest. Prices could be reduced for the less appealing games so that maybe a group of friends could hire the box and enjoy the game from a different perspective. Just thought it could be better used and also raise some more cash without to large an investment on the clubs part. Any other ideas? :024:

Do you reckon Paterson would have got us to the dizzy heights where we currently sit? And if so would we be more of an attacking gungho team like in the days of the second division where 5-3 scorelines were not unheard of ?(both wins and defeats)

We all know how far the club has come in a relatively short period of time. But how far can the club and team go ? Taking into account our limited finances and fan base, do you think we can become a consistent top six SPL team? Or nightmare scenario do you think we have peaked ? !!!! Views anyone ?

We will probably loose some players over the summer but if we keep the nucleus and the ones who want to play for the "shirt" rather than the "pound",then I think we wont go far wrong. Though a couple of new signings to keep the squad fresh and to add some more competition , would not go amiss. PS heard Rankin is being eyed by Gretna.
