Song for Saturday
If we get the result and as it's Austria / Switzerland there can only be 1 song for a full Hampden, The Happy Wanderer All together now!!! I love to go a-wandering, Along the mountain track, And as I go, I love to sing, My knapsack on my back. Chorus: Val-deri,Val-dera, Val-deri, Val-dera-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha Val-deri,Val-dera. My knapsack on my back.

mr t...crazy fool
However bad Tokely was on saturday don't ever compare what he did as being on the same level as the challenge on Brown. Tokely was stupid. The attack on Scott Brown is the real disgrace, only intention was to take another player out of the game and seriously injure him. Any player that thinks that way should not be allowed to play again at that level. Tokely will learn his lesson but there was no real evil intent as some have suggested.

Richie.......
Sack him or back him? It's not so easy for the club to sack him because of employment law and ECHR regs. They are basically duty bound to help an employee through a difficult time, i.e encourage rehab or counselling. But, I would think he has been told even though he may well be allowed to see out the rest of his contract he would have no chance of getting near the first team. He may well think it's best for him to make a fresh start and find another club. He's off.

Should Bennett Go Too??
If what the press say about NW not even being spoken to then that really puts the club in a bad light and a bit embarrasing really. You have an experienced and high profile manager pratically saying "come and get me" yet no one has the decency even to make contact and say "we are aware of your interest in the job which we appreciate, however on this time we have decided to go with.....". Boy's club again, "i'll see you right mate". The reasoning that managers given first chance to prove themselves at ICT paid off was a success is not that true. Brewster, obvious what people think. CC, decent guy but pushed into a job he didn't really want or felt comfortable with? What's going to happen this time? If you buy cheap, you get cheap. Should Grassa stand down? For me, YES.

Craig Brewster agrees in principle
Brewster has just announced that he would love to have returned here. However after a difficult heartfelt decision he has decided to accept the Riyadh Rangers job as he could never turn down the Arabs!

Just don't call him colin!
I don't know if it's been mentioned anywhere else here but getting N.W would surely build the media attitude toward our club. He'd no doubt have something interesting / controversial to say after a game which media would relish. Instead of being a passing mention by many (Scotsport erses) we'd probably be first on the list. How would Andy Walker and his sidekick feel about having to talk about ICT before Hibs?

The case for Coyle
I don't think Coyle and St. J failed to take advantage of Gretna's stuttering as much as people are implying. They were pretty much victims of their own success because of their cup run to the semi final, having really a limited squad. If they hadn't done so well in the cup I've no doubt they would have won the league fairly easily in the end. Coyle looks pretty sharp and did well against Prem teams without playing himself! Remember Brewster the player against the Brewster the manager. In my opinion Coyle is streets ahead of Brewster.

Hastings wants to take free-kicks
Back in the old Telford Street days, Hastings scored some crackers from free kicks. I also wondered why he stopped taking them when we moved to new ground. Let him try again I say.
