Well done to the young kids with the banner "There's only one David Raven". He came over to them at half time and they took some selfies. Gentleman. Get him signed up NOW - we need him

According to the look JH gave when asked by fan in main stand to get David Raven on I have given up any hope of him getting a new contract ....I hope I'm proved wrong !!

Wishful thinking. But maybe something to look at for new season. I believe Ross County supporters have their supporters bus/ buses subsidised by one of the board over the bridge.

Never give up hope !! .We have a few days yet .You never know who may hear our plight   :-/

  3. It would be a nice gesture if there was a wealthy businessman / woman out there who could subsidise a small bus for this game . Hard luck if the loyal supporters who travel to all away games can't get to last one of season . Got my begging bowl in hand ,in hope :-)

It seems that the journalist's tweet was misinterpreted as relating to David Raven! "In Tomorrow's Inverness Courier - an exclusive on the future of one out-of-contract Inverness star." It was Dean Brill.
Perhaps 'Hearach's' rumour was based on this?...and Raven is still nowhere near being retained?
Until any sources are given, I'll treat the 'rumour' as just that - but, I'd be delighted if it does prove to have some substance!

Hearach's rumour suggested "fans would be very happy " I don't imagine there will be many fans happy with this news . I'm not giving up hope that Ronaldo is on his way !!

Just heard a story which, if true will make a lot of fans very happy. Fingers crossed

Yes I've just heard it too ... We've just signed Ronaldo !!!

  6. Is there likely to be any sort of incentive ie kids free or under 16 £5 ?.It would be good to get a reasonable size crowd for the sake of the TV. After Saturday's game even though we are safe I'm looking forward to another quality display .Its days like that we need to encourage new fans and also S T holders to renew their tickets . Keep up the good work it was a class act all round.

  7. Joking aside I hope this boy hasn't done too much damage to his foot for a moment of madness .I believe it was quite entertaining although I didn't see it .

Someone on P&B was saying that words were exchanged between Hughes and Rice at one point!  Something I've wondered about Foran on the bench, is it purely a ceremonial role?  In recent weeks, we've taken off Storey and brought the soon to be departing and out of position Danny Williams on upfront ahead of Foran.  Even stranger, at Tannadice the other week at half time I was stood by the barrier over the looking the pitch when I saw Richie Foran walking down the touchline with a drink in hand.  Lucozade?  Water?  No, coffee!  Doesn't seem like the type of beverage someone about to come on the park would be drinking!

Definitely not very choice words exchanged between JH and Rice yesterday .Certainly not a happy atmosphere in or out of the dugout .Not very encorouaging for fans .

I've always tried to give Yogi the benefit of the doubt, but there's no defence for this decision.  It's identical to when Butcher froze out Munro.  Even if Yogi doesn't want him to start, at least retain him as a squad player.  An absolutely disgusting decision and I for one believe Hughes may have just signed his own death warrant.

I agree totally ... I hope the powers that be see the wrong in their ways and re think this horrendous decision. There is still time he is not away yet . Although David Raven is not from this area he shows a passion for ICT which is lacking in a few areas !!

He has been told by John Hughes he will not be offered a new contract - Daily Express.

Very disappointing if true , another of our best players let go :-(

What is happening with him?  Is he on his way out?  Will he be offered a new contract?  Why is he not playing?  Why is John Hughes not playing one of our most consistent players?  He would have made a tremendous difference on Saturday and many other games he was left out of.  I along with many fans want a new contract for Raven, and he has publicly stated that he wants one.   If we are going to let a solid, consistent, loyal player who is extremely popular with the fans leave then I am seriously considering taking my money elsewhere next season and finding a new hobby on a Saturday.

    Raven must stay!!!

You are not alone in your thinking !!! He was there on Sat I saw him outside with his beautiful little girl .

This Raven saga is starting to remind me of when Butcher started attempting to freeze out Munro, Duncan and later Tokely. He might not be flamboyant, but a more solid, reliable, steady full back at this level you'll have trouble finding. The fact he's come out asking for a deal in the press and is still yet to get one gives me the impression that he finds Yogi someone he doesn't want to or finds difficult to speak to, something that could well give credence to the rumours that Yogi's man management isn't the best.

Totally agree with Renegade here .....Also when we lose a goal why does Yogi come flying out of the dugout like someone

possessed and get ripped into Ryan Esson regardless of whose to blame ......He is losing respect all round !!!

  14. As a fan who  travels on supporters bus to all away games ,and has done for several years this saddens me.

To be banning our young fans for enjoying the moment and making an atmosphere is not the way to go if the

club want to encourage fans to come to games .The youngsters who travel regularly in my opinion are always

very well behaved and polite .Without more details I can only assume that the fans in question are not

regular travellers  and were perhaps not aware of rules on buses .

I wonder what control the bus convener /s had of the situation as I understand this is the purpose of having

    conveners on buses.

  15. As things stand every away game I feel we are being kept in limbo because of the uncertainty

of the situation... ie .. are we going /are we not . Is there really nobody in the higher ranks of the club

with a contact to a large company who could go with begging bowl in hand and ask for them to

subsidies buses . As has already been pointed out our rivals OTB can manage it .

Who owns Weldex ??? Roy MacGregor  ???

Ironically, it's our former chairman, Dougie McGilvray who founded Weldex and is their current CEO.

    I rest my case !!

  16. As the person running the as I am disappointed as anyone.

Some of the solutions are impractical:

How are the club, who have great difficulties with running the club at a break even level, supposed to fund the deficit?

I don't drive, so who has volunteered to drive a minibus?

We don't a Roy McGregor or a Weldex, so who wants identify a sponsor?

Who has agreed to book a space on the bus Partick Thistle, on 24 November 2015, leaving at 9:45 (Social Club) and 10.00 (Stadium)?

Answers hear or on 07951 309504

Certainly no one blaming you for situation John .You do a fantastic job and I know you will

be as disappointed with where we are at because it is a very enjoyable day out .Even more

so when we win .Its just getting very frustrating for regulars who put lives on hold waiting

to see if bus running or not . In reality if not possible after success of last season what

is the likelihood of a happy outcome .
