  1. As things stand every away game I feel we are being kept in limbo because of the uncertainty

of the situation... ie .. are we going /are we not . Is there really nobody in the higher ranks of the club

with a contact to a large company who could go with begging bowl in hand and ask for them to

subsidies buses . As has already been pointed out our rivals OTB can manage it .

Who owns Weldex ??? Roy MacGregor  ???

  2. Invariably when we leave stadium for away games there is a minibus parked apparently unused.

I don't know how many seats there are but I suspect there would be enough for the regulars who

are keen to travel to support their team . The problem is who if it's not their job would be willing

to take on the responsibility of transporting fans especially over winter period .Also do you not

need a special licence to drive a certain size of vehicle ?

As I've said above its a sad situation we find ourselves in but if that's the way it has to be I would

be all for it so the few regulars like myself can get back to looking forward to our away days .

I am not volunteering myself for driving but I'm sure there is someone more than capable maybe

the Club could stretch to a small payment for their trouble .

We are now clutching at straws but before we find another way of spending Sat. afternoons and fans

dwindle even more lets try to find a solution .

As this is second bus cancelled this season and we are not half way through I don't feel very encouraged .

  3. As a regular user of supporters bus I am very happy the way things are as all fans are catered for

We could look at time of leaving depending on distance being travelled .ICT have a lot of young faithful fans

who turn up every week where possible most of them are under age to go into pubs this has

to be taken into account when making changes .As far as I know parents have to give

consent for them to travel but who is responsible for them when we arrive at stadium

too early and they can't or don't want to go to pub ? Our buses have always been run exceptionally

well and Im sure the majority who travel have no idea of the work involved .Please do everything

possible to keep our young  fans safe .

  4. Going by the Courier, Vincent and Meekings should make the matchday squad for Friday's game but Jordan Roberts is out for 6 weeks with an aggravated groin problem.

Great news !! Hopefully some truth in it ,just to hear they are almost there is a bonus .

  5. David Raven to the rescue yet again ......well done David  !!!!!! Promising signs from team but as

happens often just can't keep things tight enough to final whistle.

The saddest sight was seeing Nick Ross getting his feet taken from him ,which could have been very

serious . We are not a team to use dirty tactics and Nick is one of the nicest natured players we have

had . He looked unscathed so I hope no damage done and hope we don't see a repeat of this .It was

    sickening !!!!

  6. Yes this is very true I've done it ...but ...Gold bus or Mega bus doesn't go to Parkhead ,Firhill , Tannadyce, Rugby Park , etc. etc.

By the time you get yourself to these stadiums you will be lucky to have change of £20 ...

  8. Marley on twitter:

"Absolutely loved my time at ICTFC - amazing family football club which deserves more local support - I'll never forget the cup run. Moving to another Scottish team would have been wrong so close to what we achieved recently! Kenny Cameron and the rest of lads are heroes!"

Proves what a decent loyal boy he is .So pleased we won't play against him as fans do turn sour

towards ex players. After his hard work and achievement with us it would be sad to hear him

getting grief.Wishing you All the Best of Luck for your future .Thanks for the memories Marley they're

    here to stay FOREVER !!!!!!

  9. If it comes down to preferential treatment (my opinion only )

would be .The die hard fans who travel the A9 and A96 to every

away game whatever the weather regardless of results should

be a priority .It would show a little gratitude from the club for

loyalty .I appreciate it comes down to cost on a weekly basis .

  10. Vincent Lunny (ex-compliance officer) is on BBC Sport website questioning the dismissal and defending his successor Anthony McGlennan in raising the Meekings complaint.

Surfing the internet and it seems that Lunny is a Celtic fan and McGlennan is/was a Celtic season ticket-holder ... anyone know for definite if this is true?

If so, you couldn't make this s$#@ up lol!

If true no surprises there .

  11. Fantastic news !!!! Thankfully the three panelists had a brain !!!

We can all now get back on track and look forward to the best

day out in ICT s history with no Celtic involvement .Delighted

for Josh and Well Done to all involved in getting justice for him .

Don't know how true it is but one of the local journalists on Twitter naming Adams Snr as a panel member. Thanks to the panel for their common sense anyway.

He was on Radio Scotland just now and was speaking in favour of Josh

So you could be right .Maybe we owe him one

  12. We appear if all reports are correct to be getting a lot of sympathy from all over from other clubs .

Would be good if they come along on the day and give us their support and help us on the way to

lifting that important piece of silver .Because try as you may Celtic you can't change the fact we are

In the final and you're not .Get over it you shower of spoilt brats .

High time someone had the balls to put a stop to the hold they have over every decision made whatever

Team its against .HEAD UP JOSH WE ALL LOVE YOU AND KNOW YOU ARE NOT A CHEAT !!!!!!!!!

  13. Surprised by Yogi's comments that Celtic were right to complain  Caley boss John Hughes refused to be drawn on the ban but admitted Celtic were RIGHT to complain. He said: “I’m 100 per cent behind Celtic. Unfortunately it’s the referee that gets it.“It was a penalty and a sending-off. It would have been 2-0 and game over but I’m 100 per cent convinced that it was an honest mistake by the official

It is only a sending off if deliberate. It's only Yogi's opinion but it certainly makes ICT look more than a bit naive in the media handling. Surely Yogi should have been briefed by legal counsel before undertaking an interview of this sort for flips sake!

If this is the attitude John Hughes is going to meeting with God help you Josh !!!!!

  14. This is my first comment for a long time but like everyone else on here can't believe this decision.

Just heard John Collins on news staing that if they had been given the decision they would have won

Says who John ??? It's like dealing with kids in the playground .Why do Celtic think they have the God

given right to win everything ?

I attend all home and away games and if this decision is not overturned God help the refs because I

can honestly say their are decisions missed at every game and this is going to open the floodgates

like they have never been opened before.

Now I think as fans we have all to get fully behind our team and give them all the support we can

because in the end of the day we are going to Hampden and Celtic are not.

The SFA have just proved what we all suspected how they don't want teams from the Highlands

    In the League .

This is such a sad situation and Josh is not a nasty player it would be criminal if he misses the

biggest game of his career. With that in mind I would be more than happy to make a donation to

the Club to with the cost of this appeal .If anyone knows how this can be arranged please

    advise .

  15. Hearach, that is by no means a rant that is a very accurate account of our visit to Parkhead yesterday... I too witnessed the incident with the child and tried to stress how dangerous it was to the police in attendance , but came away absolutely disgusted at there attitude as apparently its quite in order in Glasgow to jump up and down at the top of a concrete stairway with a child on your shoulders and not holding on to him ... As for the Green Brigade Im afraid they ruined our fans effort of support .As a fan I don't suppose My voice will be heard but I would hope the club could speak on our behalf or there is no point in us attending .The incident of the drum just sickened all on our bus I was heart sore for the boy involved as he is a very quite polite young boy who attends regular and for a lowlife to do what he did is just beyond comprehension.I know including myself that there were fans on the bus who would be more than happy to donate towards a new drum for him .Whether he would want to take it to matches well that would be his choice and nobody could blame him if he chooses not to. I hope he has not been too traumatised by it.

  16. Maybe Caleyjagsforever could add this topic at their next meeting it's all very well admitting the chants were offensive but without action the problem won't go away

A closer working relationship with the club and the authorities should help weed out the troublemakers

I blame movies like football factory and green street, school children are easily lead and they think that kind of behaviour is sadly acceptable

    Dougal

Well said Dougal ...then maybe this thread wouldn't have been in vain.

  17. Im sorry Davie but I cannot accept that as a reason for Police not stepping in .It was so offensive

I don't believe they needed anyone to spell it out to them. Im not sure that Richard Brittain or his wife

would agree with you that it's not personal .Please do not try to make excuses for these yobs

You are comparing us to Man Untd and Man City please keep in mind it was Highland Derby

.quote name="davie" post="405409" timestamp="1396725345"]Police probably didn't step in because no one complained that they found it offensive at the time. I would have found it so, but would have taken the IHE line and robustly asked them to desist. There is a long history of this type of chant, from Man City fans mocking Munich, Man Utd fans mocking Hillsborough to songs about Tommy Burn's cancer and Norrie MacAthie of Dunfermline's death. They are calculated to provoke and prompt a reaction from opposing fans, and there's nothing personal with regards to Mr Brittain's wife in this. Depression is a serious illness, but these laddies don't see that. It ain't funny, it didn't provoke a reaction and your fellow fans abhor it. So just stop it.

Izzy, I'm sorry if you accidentally misread what I was saying, but a couple of points. I have made it clear that I would have found this offensive and acted (as I have previously done). You must also realise that the police will only act if there has been a complaint in this respect. It seems there was none. The teams that you think we bear no comparison to are football teams who have fans as well, of all types who can be offensive as well.. I have a long background as a professional in mental health, and find your (erroneous) implication that I would minimise the effects by "making excuses" a bit - to quote you - offensive.

I did not mean to offend anyone Davie and I apologise if you have been offended .I take your point about the Police and had I been closer I would have said something .I can't imagine how offended Richard Brittains wife feels and its her I was speaking up for . I too have worked in Mental Health Davie and this is why I feel so passionate about it.

Reading OTB there are fans on there stating how there are a few of our fans going to get our club into trouble with that particular song.

I hope I have explained myself and my apology is accepted, but my views on the original post does not change.
