  1. Made a comment to who I thought was a peg seller with these feckin joke factory items. Turns out he was a weegie scarf merchant who probably did'nt know better.......until pointed out to him that it was comparable to a half tim, half Hun offering!!

  2. I'm a South London fan of Caley (my other team is Crystal Palace)...a great win tonight, to follow up on the weekend...Caley stand a good chance, they look to have a good balance this year with plenty of fight (just Like Palace) ... have targetted the Ross County match in March for my first home game (flights /hotel booked already) so be nice to see ICT inch towards the crown when I come up

Booking yer flights and hotel could be a schoolboy error. League Cup final is that weekend on the Sunday. :ictscarf: :ictscarf:

Then he'll get in some sightseeing as well, going to Hampden on the supporters bus !!

  3. Just be careful lads. Was at the C*unty game on saturday in the away end with relatives and SSN and updates by text :( The stewardry was, to say the least "challenging" and there appeared to be a willingness for them to instigate problems rather than deal with them. as an illustration, saw one steward ejecting someone with his arm twisted up his back to restrain him. Steward claimed to definitely have "delegated power of arrest" and was adamant he could use force. It wasn't isolated and there was a definite atmosphere. Please do not allow this sort of thing to happen on saturday. If you have to be polite to a fault, obey their instructions and do not get caught up in it. You know it makes sense.

I find this concerning given the attitude of some of these 'morons in hi-viz'. My understanding is only the police have the power of arrest at our grounds and the situation needs to be corroborated, with the most likely charge being breach of the peace?

If these idoits are going about heavily handed throwing people out then it needs to be both clarified and restisted in the public domain. In my opinion they have no right to physically eject anyone from a ground. There are certain grounds I will not visit since witnessing idiotic stewards bullying our fans. These people need to remember why they are there..........for the safety and well being of the paying public.

  4. I'll not be walking to this one though. Will have 3 in tow.

What's the usual pre-match rendezvous called again? And does anyone know the price of the car park?

That'l be one of the golf clubs young un, either the Caledonian or the Bon-Accord. Why don't you just park on the beach Esplanade, its free!

Might just manage the two mile 'trek' for this one ;-)

  5. Frankly I think the proposal is completely outrageous. Giving a competetive platform only for OF 2nd teams in the SFL would give them a huge advantage both in terms of competetive games for their 2nd string and in terms of additional income. If reserve teams are to play in a competetive environment (and I think they should), we either have a reserve league or other leagues should be open to reserve teams from the national league structure so that there is an opportunity for all should they wish to avail themselves of it.

This just shows that despite Rangers having disgraced Scottish football, their influence within the ruling elite of Scottish football remains as insiduous as ever.

Could not agree more, then of course Sevco would have to attain membership of the top 16 purely on merit.

  6. I'd like to know the criteria for selecting a ' Nuetral Venue'..........and why not Hampden if it has to be in the central belt.

The club should be making noises about this, great for Jambos fans but another difficult, expensive winter jolly for the Highlanders once again.

  7. Can't see how the police can oppose this when they are doing the same thing over he bridge!

Probably by the same mechanism as they employ to kill enjoyment of Inverness as a Saturday night entertainment centre by insisting on a midnight curfew.

Police in towns and cities across the UK seem to manage "normal" Saturday pub and club going as a matter of course. But uniquely this seems to be beyond the competence of the Inverness cops and, apart from anything else, it portrays our city to the world as some kind of Wee Free dominated 19th century backwater.

So they will possibly also therefore come to the conclusion that the management of two sets of football fans in the same pub will also be beyond the capacity of the Sneck Constabulary.

Wee free dominated backwater sounds about right to me Charles and they have been killjoys in the town/city for as long as I can remember.........and I'll wager Scarlet's generation would make similar claims.

  8. Well that was truly uninspiring, not a striker on the park, hit and hope to Foran through the middle. Can't figure this line up at all, Butcher in survival mode reverting to long ball?? Aberdeen are posing no real threat, we should be up and at them in the second half, but need to change this formation to pose any goal threat.
