  1. Right now we're one of only three who can.............and Septic aren't in the mix

If my arithmetic serves me well, often it doesn't, right now one of four...

Deliberately left out Hearts, even Lazarus would struggle with that one !!

Realistically though can't see anybody stopping Septic....

  2. Or maybe the timing has to do with the fact it was the club AGM last night?

Is it the case that he was happy to be put forward for re-election at the time when the AGM resolutions would have been issued earlier this month, but when the AGM took place he wanted that resolution withdrawn?

I hadn't taken much interest in the AGM this year but that doesn't sound like normal procedure as the board are self-electing and not normally appointed by the AGM. So who are the new members who Grassa doesn'nt appear to approve of then?

  3. "Kenny Shiels is top of the shortlist according to Daily Record. I would be pleased with that if true. Him and Jimmy Nicholl would be great additions to the club but just hope he doesn't draw bad press"

Jimmy Nick would be a great addition to to the club.........along with the much more stable, proven and qualified Jimmy Calderwood IMO

  4. CaleyD - you may have picked up on the fact that I don't fancy Sheils for the gig. I've had the misfortune of listening to his histrionics on Radio Scotland on numerous occasions so my previous comments are simply my personal opinion on the guy. I don't see how this constitutes misrepresentation.

Graham Speirs is one hack promoting Sheils' appointment and there have been several others singing his praises. To me his cringeworthy rants are manna from heaven to these guys. They want him back in work as his pantomime dame act gives them plenty to write about.

I don't want him at ICT but as I'm merely a punter expressing my opinion on a supporters forum I seriously doubt the powers that be or Mr. Sheils will be losing sleep over my thoughts on the matter. I kind of thought that was the purpose of a forum......

I'm with you on this one YMIP, would be a source of extreme embarrassment and tarnish our reputation.

We need somebody with integrity as well as experience and ambition, not a Judas type character looking for a stepping stone.

There's one candidate fits the bill for me and I cannot understand why he's been overlooked for many recent vacancies.......step up Jimmy Calderwood, the tanning salons of Inverness eagerly await your imminent arrival!

  5. What about Hope Powell ? She may have stayed too long in the England post but she is a tactically shrewd coach and good motivator with an excellent win ratio and who's teams are noted for attacking and attractive football.

Having a former iconic international captain raised the profile of the club but just think of the impact being the first senior professional club to appoint a woman manager would have. The media interest in ICT would be phenomenal not just within the UK but throughout the world.

Can I have a pint of what you're drinking ?!?!

  6. BBC Sportsound last night said the venue choice was the spfl and kick off time was the bbc. They wanted it early cos they're showing rugby later.

What is it with BBC and rugby? Always hacks me off these egg chasers that can't kick a ball always seem to be given priority particularly when it comes to radio coverage.

  7. Malpas in the press stating that he had already made up his mind to go to Hibs as number 2 mid last week.

What a lovely welcome these two will receive on their return on February 1st 2014.............oh wait a minute, are we not playing in a cup semi final that week-end............at Easter Road of all places...........love it, have a day off, there's a couple of good boys now.............
