    For the purpose of clarity...................RhodaMcBean????

Enjoyable tale. Read something like it when I was young. Particularly enjoyed the ugly sisters..........Mantis and Donview ( the new Abbot and Costello?)

Feck me, he's alive..........heard you were auditioning for Scarlet Pimp 2...................you not allowed out to play with your young pals nowadays tightwad??

Think we need to rename you 'Naeshow'

  2. Went into JD Sports on Sunday before returning to Aberdeen, my mate wanted a home shirt for his niece's Christmas. A whole two shirts on the rails, one adults XL and one childs 9-10 years.

He ended up buying her the training top as that's was really the total choice. It's not a new situation either as I've been in a few times since the start of the season and stock levels have been appalling. Good riddance!!

As a footnote (very irritating) there were no shortage of Celtic and Rangers strips on display!!

I wonder if some of the (half hearted) boos he got maybe got to him a wee bit? Certainly after that challenge they became a lot more meaningful!

Did you read Charlie Allan's match report and comments on booing Shinnie RiG?............don't know what game he was watching, unbelievable!!

I would have given the tickets to Kingsmills so that he could tell JH how much he loves him - Face to Face!

Pity, I would have gone along with Kingsmills for 'moral' support............my boxing coaching with big Ross seems to have worked just fine  :boxing:

Seven pages, over a hundred and fifty posts, thousands of words but if you don't have the time or inclination to trawl through them all just read this brilliant one paragraph post. Absolutely nails it and sums things up perfectly. Well said sir...

    Agreed.................100%

    3 yards? -that's only 15 feet.?  OVER!???

Sorry, I'm just in disbelief. Same old, same old.

Watched him on Saturday, amazed he stayed on the park for 90 mins and others subbed.

Utterly hopeless and immobile, better in the HL........wait a minute, he played the full game again tonight.

Raises major questions over our management team and their ability to bring in players. Relegation battle ahead and fear the worst under this clown.

I hope that Yogi does not make the mistake he made last season when we went to Ibrox in the League Cup and gave The Rangers to much respect by not only talking them up as a big team but treating them us such.

Our recent form has not been great but, in the context of Sunday we are the big team, we are a division higher, our recent head to head record is a good one and we are the holders something that Hibs have not been able to boast for 114 years.

No room for complacency but no need to afford them too much respect either. Whatever the bookies might say, we could and should win this tie. Hibs may be looking for some Sunshine on Leith but for them it will end in yet more sorrow,sorrow,sorrow....

Did just that on the STV news tonight, how's about some positivity for a change instead of every other team being a major contender.

We all know how important Tansey is to Yogi's style.  Jim Spence hinted on Twitter last night about a manager threatening to leave if an unnamed player was sold.  Was it Yogi he was referring to and hence why the board managed to keep Tansey by using semantics?

You'd think it was 'semtex' with the furore it's caused:smile:

    Hi,

Cambridge fan here and just want to say you are getting one heck of a player and a top fella. The press are listing Liam as an attacking midfielder but he has played just about every position for us. I'd say his best position is a deep lying centre mid or centre def. As his record shows he isn't a massive goal scorer but he has great creativity can certainly pick a pass to unlock a defence. Not afraid to get stuck in and mix it when he has to but certainly not dirty in anyway. He's tall and we regularly put him up against tall strikers when defending corners or goal kicks and he won a LOT more than he lost. He's got a good engine and as you've seen from the video has a shot on him like a kicking horse. We really don't understand the logic in letting him go. He's been a stalwart for the last 2-3 years but a new manager has come in and bombed him & a few others straight out of the team without ever looking at them in a game and replaced them with a number of untried premier league youngsters, none of whom are setting the world alight.

One thing you really will get from him is a real connection with the fans, he'll always be happy to have photos taken or sign autographs. Any kids that ask him will get asked if they play, what position etc and he gives a real sense of being genuinely interested in their answers.

I hope you enjoy him, he will always get a fantastic welcome from us for the opening goal in our playoff final at Wembley in 2014 that ended 9 years of non league wilderness.

Keep an eye out for a U's shirt or two popping up as I've already heard of several people planning a weekend away.

I would certainly like to hear from ICT their perspective on the Tanseygate issue!     Nowt but silence...

I would also like to hear why we could not find a striker, was Yogi actually trying to sign one or was he hoping for one of the new signings to transform into one?

My sentiments exactly, on both counts!!

We had to put up with Hughes wasting most of the month chasing his pet striker and once again failing miserably in bringing in some much needed firepower up front. Let's just hope this does not contribute to us finding ourselves in a relegation battle as this league is so tight from 4th down anybody can be sucked into the mire.
