After that performance today he's had his chance for me......lack of effort against septic put on the back boiler but that today was a feckin disgrace.

Substitutions later than Butcher and Williams still in the side.........apparently for 90 mins, did anyone notice his contribution.

Nick Ross, Aaron Doran even Warren and Meekings seem to lack desire. Gone is the fierce tackling and we seem to back peddle and invite teams onto us.........and the constant back to the keeper WTF.

Really cant see him saying what he said if he didnt want or like Hughes as manager. He has not only towed the line in what would probably be expected as captain but he sounds pretty happy about it and goes on to say he was the man the players wanted, he does actually start the interview with a grin on his face. If he didnt want Hughes there he could have just as easily said all the cliche's and left it at that? He goes well beyond that imo. Quite pleased after seeing that.

From my vantage point, I saw it all and what he did was simply outrageous. Worthy of at least a ten match touchline ban in my view.
