Utter pish...............goodnight!!
and hopefully it's goodnight from the "disgruntled one"as well
-
The biggest worry is we've known since last December we need a striker with Mackay going. Watkins was a good stop gap, so why sign all these midfielders and no sign of a striker?!?!

And only a yellow card from Allan.....straight red for me, another shocker from our favourite "I'm centre stage" referee, disgusting!!
-
My gripe is why are we changing home kit after only one year???
Have I missed some communication with the fans on this topic??

Rumours rife in Aberdeen I'm afraid, becoming seriously pissed off with all the recent developments...........
-
Aye lad, been some happy times and a few yarns to tell lol

I would rest the entire starting 11 for next weekend, bar Raven (assuming he gets his place back).
This is a completely meaningless game. As others have said, it's easy to get a red card at Celtic park with the play acting and crowd reactions. Simply not worth the risk. And obviously, you don't want players picking up knocks. Sometimes when a player is afraid of injuries, and not fully committing themselves in challenges, they end up actually being more vulnerable to injury.
On the other hand, match sharpness could be an advantage for us come the final. So giving a few players a 'run out' as a training exercises might not be a bad idea. I would be more prepared to 'risk' the likes of Watkins, Christie and Williams, safe in the knowledge that we have similar players in Doran, Vincent and Ross ready to step in and replace them. Probably sounds a bit harsh! Esson, Shinnie and Ofere aren't currently so replaceable. And our only other obvious shout if one of our centre halves get shelved would be Draper, who hasn't spent much time there this season.
It's also a good chance to give our reserve players a 'cup final' of their own. Celtic Park is the biggest stage in the league. Polworth, Tremarco, Horner, Kink etc deserve a chance to show what they can do after waiting patiently on the bench for most of the season. There's no guarantee that we'd get hammered, on the contrary, I think a fully committed, hungry team desperate to prove a point, and wanting to produce a big performance to earn a place in the final, would be more likely to get a result against Celtic than a nervy, anxious, distracted first 11.

Got one of them mounted for my 60th birthday........thanks Kenny

There's plans to have a Limited Edition shirt with embroidery...as per the final last season.
Will get info out on it as soon as possible.

Only need to have a squad number Johndo.......

Me and my left upper arm are boycotting this game but I will rest throughout on my ICT tattoo and watch - possibly with a voddie or two. But would we liable to a fine for not putting out an experienced team.

Two for me and Gavin or I'll hunt you down with yer loud shoes and burst ya!!

I have asked the pub to increase the capacity as we have a high demand for wrist bands. We won't get everyone into the pub in afraid

Rest the first team squad and blood all the youngsters. We must avoid injuries and suspensions at all cost and as mooted above Brown and Co will be out for revenge. Would not risk Ryan Esson and agree it's as good a time as any to give our young keeper his debut.
A lot of regular fans who travel to away games I have spoken to are not going to Parkdread either for the fear of trouble and abuse .

How many have you driven to, as a matter of interest
More than you for sure..............that's why I christened you "Naelifts" !!

See in tonights Aberdeen EE that young Declan McManus is considering his future. At twenty he wants regular first team action.
He's scored 22 goals for Morton this season and out of contract.........worth a gamble?

Think that was the day we first gave their buses a right doing........................

I've seen Johndo's "grapes of wrath" Scarlet...............not a pretty sight

Disappointed like everyone else but get a grip FFS, we knew it was coming. The boy's a pro, he'll continue to play for his employers as he has done for the whole season with speculation surrounding him.
Calls to drop him are ludicrous to say the least, grow up......

John Hughes managed to stifle the negativers for a period but now, like the gophers in the prairies of Saskatchewan who appear out of their holes when the snow disappears, to see what's around them, here they manifest again:
N for:
Negativers,
Naysayers,
Not helpful,
Not uplifting,
Naughty,
Narky.
Even nasty,
Not unlikely to depress
Nattering about nothing really significant
Nebulous at this stage
N...... in the woodpile undermines the ship.
Note that one swallow does not a Summer make.
Nero fiddled while Rome burned but our Management is much smarter and much less mad than him.
Notification: We will be in the top three no matter what at the end of the season.
Now there's a thing that we should talk about.
No player is indispensable and no player can not be trained by John Hughes nor remain at this club for long if he doesn't want to.
Never say never, --when there's breath left in the body.
Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah Na.
Nightie night and remember....never quit 'cos it aint over till the fat lady sings.
JINGS!
You forgot one very important negative Scarlet.............Naelifts

You're right Huisdean, we should be supporting the use of these lower league club grounds like Queens Park and New Rangers to help develope our young players of the future
IF we needed a new manager.....
