  1. What a pr***k Sutton is!! Worst commentator by a mile! Very annoying!
  2. Sorry?? Nothing embarrassing at all. Keep it in perspective!
  3. Brilliant IHE!!!! Permission to copy all over the Facebook World!!
  4. OK - Let's move on and win the Cup for Gary and Deano ...... and everyone else of course!!!
  5. Would have thought 12.15 would be more appropriate!!
  6. Having been conspicuous by my silence since making the original post, can I suggest drawing a line under this. I did not intend anything other than expressing genuine feelings about the situation, have been encouraged by the supporting posts ... yet disappointed at those suggesting hypocrisy or attention seeking. And I did not want to get into a free for all with those who may have disagreed with what I had said. So can we call it a day ..... we have a European place to fight for and we need to focus on that and continuing to boost our support home and away!!
  7. It's a great day when you take your kids to their first football match. And so it was when I set off with my son and 6 year old grandson to the Accies match. We lasted 40 minutes before we took the decision (jointly between my son and I) to leave and not to expose my grandson to any more of the most disgusting, foul-mouthed abuse that I have ever heard at a football match. (e.g I'm going to f*****g kill you you f**** c*** and I'm going to f*** your mother you f****** c***). Constant, hardly a room for breath before the next tirade along the same lines. I've been going to matches for nearly 50 years and am no shrinking violet or sweetie rustler myself, but I have NEVER heard such a constant vile and foul tirade that was an embarassment to ICT. I hope you, whoever you are, read this. Maybe you are not even a regular supporter although you were wearing a Caley Jags scarf. But you are without any doubt the biggest scumbag that I have ever seen at any football match. Do you have kids? ....would you be happy for them to hear what came out of your foul mouth? It's a real pity there was no stewarding in the away stand (none at all) because you wouldn't have lasted minutes otherwise. But there was none and you got away with it and I will think twice about going to any more away matches while people like you spoil football for everyone around you, especially kids. I certainly won't be taking my grandson back and it is all down to one particular foul-mouthed individual.
  8. My favourite ever visit to Rugby Park. We were playing them off the park and when Dave the Rave got sent off and they converted, I turned to ma boy and said we're still going to win this! They had about 10 minutes of superiority, then we kicked off again and made them look stupid. Confident, controlled, great one touch stuff to which Killie had no answer ..... but what a way to win with 2 goals that will rank among the best you will see all season. Proud.... very proud!!!
  9. Ross County boss Derek Adams "A draw would've been fair and again they've managed to beat us with a decision going against us. The games have been tense and scrappy and today was one of our worst performances. "To lose a derby match like this, I don't think Inverness will be happy winning it like that." Aye yer right Derek - not happy - just absolutely fecking delighted ya moron!!
  10. The Boys Club in Planefield Road with Jimmy Bruce -(Queens Own Cameron Highlanders War Memorial Boys Club) to be precise and the Saturday night 'hops'.
  11. I would be very grateful if someone could post an update on how Richie is progressing. Sorry if I have missed anything since, but the last update I was aware of was Charles B's post on 13 August which said he would be fit again in "about 3 weeks". Nick Ross has been fantastic - but I think we are all waiting in anticipation of the captain's return! So - any training news?
  12. 'Kingsmells'!? What kind of post is that? There is no 'd' in privilege but there is in 'idiot'. If this was a slip of the finger on the keyboard then I will apologise for calling you an idiot - but I suspect that it was just another mindless comment of the type that turns people away from posting on this forum. dry your eyes mun Confirmation.

  14. ??? - very worrying! the sentiment or the spelling? Or both? Both! But mainly the grammar!
  15. Can't agree with that comment at all Smee. I grew up with Highland League football and started supporting the Jags at age 8 or 9 when my grandfather was the groundsman at Kingsmills. But - living in Dalneigh, I would also find myself at Telford Street now and again climbing over the wall at the Bumbers Lane cos I didnt have the entrance money. As you must know, we all had pals/drinking buddies, whatever, who supported the Jags or Caley or Clach (who my father and uncle played for). Those were the local rivalries then and if I remember rightly, we would always lend reluctant support to rivals on cup runs. I always enjoyed Jags v Ross County matches and enjoyed the rival banter - but that's all it was! A few of the regular posters on here who indulge in the more vitriolic of attacks do not have a proper perspective on Highland football history.
  16. No - you're not alone in your puzzlement - but you are most likely in the minority. The majority of ICT fans (who don't post on here in any case) will presumably wish County well and many will have a Highland day out. I also wish them well and don't participate in the usual vitriol (as opposed to good-natured rivalry and banter!).
  17. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t..._ct/8652952.stm Get Hayes signed as a priority - and get Rooney's extended as soon as!! They're all sniffing big time!
  18. .........and get Roscoe signed up as soon as you like! Please.
  19. :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: some people will say it was great and a natural release of all the good feelings of a roller coaster season, others will not like it because it could have ramifications ..... normally I would fall into the :018: :018: brigade because of my sensible head, but today, I reckon I would have been on the pitch had I been there :boldred: :boldred: :boldblue: :boldred: :boldblue: DURING the game, Scotty?
  20. get a grip we were on the park to celebrate with the players and then straight off it after.... the season we've had to celebrate with the players was tremendous and it's not as if the game wasn't already over by the 5th goal Well - first of, don't tell me to get a grip. My view of the pitch invasions was shared by many around me. Are you 10 years old?
  21. Just back from one of the most fun days out in a long time! Atmosphere fantastic - tremendous support - and the quality of the play and commitment was something I'll remember for a long time. I haven't enjoyed a game so much for ages. But - and I expect to get a deal of abuse for this - the pitch invasions, DURING the match, are totally unacceptable and these idiots have to learn to appreciate that they are spoiling the match for the other supporters. Not only that they have to realise that if the fans keep coming onto the pitch to celebrate goals - then there could be ramifications for the club.
  22. Several weeks ago (January) I would not have believed it! A couple of weeks ago - I couldn't believe it! I bl*ody well believe it now - yes, I BELIEVE!
  23. Caleylass Didn't catch the beginning of the phone-in - but received the email below yesterday pm. "Thanks for your email Alan and sorry to hear of your upset with Ewen's comments on last night's show. Here on the Real Football Phone-In we like to base the show on 'football banter' and that's all last night's comments were intended to be. He had the same opinion on Falkirk a couple of seasons ago and actually found himself in stocks at the Falkirk stadium on the last game of the season! I can tell you the Falkirk fans took great pleasure in throwing wet sponges at him. I apologise profusely as we certainly did not intend for it to come across with any sort of malice. Thanks for being a Real listener, Victoria Victoria Easton Real Football Phone In Producer Real Radio Scotland" Well - love a bit of banter myself - but it's up to individuals to decide for themselves whether or not his remarks qualify as 'banter'. Anyway - it's done and dusted and the guy, as IHE most appropriately put it - is a tube!
  24. As I live in the Central belt I sometimes listen to Real Radio's football phone in (actually Rangers and Cellic phone-in) with Ewan Cameron and Alan Rough. I was outraged tonight by Cameron's comments about ICT in particular and Inverness and the Highlands in general. He actually said that he HOPED Inverness would be relegated as teams and their supporters were fed up travelling the "dangerous" A9 to the back of beyond. He persisted in making derogatory comments about Inverness before I had to switch off in case I drove off the road. I have emailed the Head of Programming for Real Radio insisting, at the very least, on an apology on tomorrow night's show but I won't hold my breath. Obviously, you won't get the show in Inverness (you're lucky!) but try listening online tomorrow at 6 pm to see if anything is said.
