  1. cracking idea, maybe even go further and have a set number of tickets for schools to have free for the home games, i know St Mirren tried it a few years ago and it seemed to work for them. something like 50 tickets for high school kids who could easily go to the games with their mates and then hopefully keep going when they leave school.

it's a wise investment for the future

Going back 5 to 10 years the club did at one time give out tickets to schools for home games.

The supporters club still provide around 12 tickets to primary schools per game which is appreciated. The secondary schools supporters clubs is a different idea however, giving the pupils ownership of their very own clubs. It wouldn't take I.C.T much to get this up and running. They could even provide 8 by 4 flags to the various secondary school clubs to add a bit of colour to proceedings. We have to think bigger to encourage fans/atmosphere for the forthcoming S.PL season.

  2. Wilsononourwing: Sir, I salute your courage, your strength, your indefatigability, and I want you to know that (once we bought into your positivity and belief in the face of what seemed like insurmountable odds) we were with you all the way! Take a bow and have a cyber pint! :021:

  3. Both will leave after the end of the season.Saying the reason was due to Some Highlanders who stalked me so much, it led to them spelling out "we love you" with wine bottles on his front garden.

Show him how much he's appreciated and he's more likely to sign a three year extension to his contract. :)

  4. So, now we're back....how many new additions d'you think we'll need to make?

Pretty much need cover all over the pitch I reckon, especially up front.

Might be worth seeing if Harkins and that wee ***** at Dundee fancy playing SPL football next season....can't think of anyone else they've got who'd be good enough. Oh, wait a sec, Brian kerr :D :D :D

We'll no doubt lose 3 or 4 players to "bigger " clubs. I'd be very surprised if we keep any one of the Rooney, Foran and Hayes triumvirate.

  5. Anyone fancy leaving bottles of red wine in Terry Butcher's garden?

I reckon Terry would appreciate a Barolo, none o' yer ?3.29 supermarket pish for him.

    I was thinking more ?3.99 not ?3.29! :D

  6. Yes, what's his address?

And don't forget Mo's garden too!

Don't know address but know vicinity. If we get enough people interested we could spell out CHAMPIONS with bottles!....eh, or ICT.

  7. There are ifs attached to this one, if we can afford it still in the SFL, or if we go up.

Is there anyone you would like to see at ICT to coach the 19s. Personally I would love to have Barry Wilson and Robert Mann coaching, and I think they would both jump at the chance.

There are excellent youth coaches already at the club- Scott Kellacher and Duncan Shearer included. It would be great if the under 19's were part of next season's set up as the young players at the club see it as a stepping stone to first team. As you say though , there are many ifs attached.

  8. ...like you did in the Alba final and in the recent encounter at Dens. Your team simply don't have the balls to handle the pressure of the run in. word.

LeetheDee - your team invented the term "bottles crashing" . I reckon you just might be third. Great management duo though - Jism and Elf.

  9. I blame Loof Lirpa. Should never have voted him on.

Agreed, Loof Lirpa has neither the intelligence or a knowledge of Scottish football to be in such a lofty position on our board.

  10. The Pars have been getting results of late. Some Pars fans I work with who are season ticket holders at EEP think they're in with a good chance now. There are so many 'if onlys' in terms of ICT. Just hope Airdrie can take points off Dundee on Saturday and we can win.

The Pars are the best team I've seen in the league this season but I believe if we beat Cunty this weekend I.C.T will win the league on the last day of the season.
