  1. ICT have wan the Inverness Cup

NOBODY is more fussy about grammar than I am, but I have to refer you to this ballad about the indecisive Battle of Sheriffmuir during the 1715 Jacobite Rebellion.

There's some say that we wan and some say that they wan

And some say that nane wan at a' man

But one thing is sure that at Sheriff Muir

A battle was fought on that day man

And we ran and they ran and they ran and we ran

And we ran and they ran awa' man

However in the Ballad, "wan" is being used as a past tense whereas Caleyrule is using it as a past participle.

On the other hand... let's just settle for "won"! :D

You really should get out more Charles!

  2. Yeah. They said that we are dead just like the rest of section G. I couldn't help but laugh.

    :P

Must fancy their chances against a couple of thousand folk!

If this rumour gets out and about all the knuckle draggers in Inverness (whether they usually go to games or not ) will be through in Dingwall for that game.

  3. Sound like a bunch of pricks right enough, was it to do with yous being ICT fans or something? People like this should be kept away from football, choosing to wind up opposition fans rather than support their own 'team' - pathetic really.

    DYT??

    Deaf Youth Theatre??

    Dirty Young T*nks?

  4. Dame it Scotty i got a wee lift when i saw you'd posted on this thread, i thought i was going to be good news haha..

anyway fingers crossed they get it sorted but we all know as Scotty just agreed, we are skint.

Eather way Bully your the man!!! thank you for your time here if this is your last. and good luck big yin..

if your staying, HAPPYDAYS and keep up the good work, and keep doing what your doing... Scoring and getting better.

Bulvitus apparently speaking to team in Turkish league.

  5. Why the hell is everyone wanting charlie back?

Mainly because we might be able to afford him!

    :P

Budgets will be cut in future, determining that we have to go for a less expensive option as manager. Charlie fits the bill. He also has first hand knowledge of up and coming youth prospects and, with the current financial restrictions, wouldn't be discouraged from including home grown talent in the first team. Charlie's record stands up against others who have gone before and after. Remember the victorty at Iprix?

  6. I heard Billy Reid singing his praises too. Amongst the euphoria of the results of the last 2 weeks we must not forget that TB rated Djebi-Zadi higher than Hastings. Whilst Golly is doing great, we mell regret having let Hastings go.

Delighted for him that he's doing well in the S.P.L!

  7. 10CC was an absolutely hopeless and extremely low profile Manager.

    What absolute and unadulterated shyte.

Post split we had more points in seventh place than Hibs(?) above us.

    We played good entertaining football.

In every interview I ever saw him give, he came across as one of the most intelligent of the SPL managers of the season.

CC was fantastic and I was gutted when he left.

Have to agree with you. Christie was an excellent manager and a born winner. Anyone remember winning 2-1 at Ibrox?

  8. Aptly named title, it was bad enough sitting through that performance on Saturday, reviewing it highlights how poor we really were.

Much, much less than the 3011 as reported at the game. First half we were okay, second half we were very, very, very poor!

  9. Can we really respect a manager who turns to the fans and shouts "fcuk off you cant". P.R own goal by Butcher and the beginning of the end. Family club? Remember kids in the stand. On another point do the players still hold hands in a circle in the changing room doing some kind of circle of trust bo***cks? Not really working is it! Maybe next time they should do "ring a ring a rosies" for all the good it does. The writing was on the wall when Vigurs was freed.

  10. I show great patience with any new manager or new player - biut enough is enough.

A totally inept and uninspired display against a very poor QOS Team which resulted in a 1-3 home DRUBBING.

It is indefensible. It is inexcusable.

    It is a sackable offence.

    The time is now.

Clear your desks Butcher and Malpas.

Why don't you say what you really mean?

Swearing at supporters could be a sackable offence.

  11. this is the same board that left it far far far too late to ditch the brewster clown so i wouldn't hold your breath for any quick decisions on the management front, anyway for me its the board and david sutherland that are to blame for our current position in the gutter

Yes but that will not change, they all got away with the Brewster/relegation fiasco and they will sit and watch as we sink lower and lower. The will not give up their positions as who would stoke their over inflated egos in the Heathmount then.

True the amount of sycophants in the Heathmount surrounding these muppets speaks volumes for the village mentality of Inverness. The board WILL come under increasing pressure when gates drop dramatically. Was it 3011 today? Don't think so - much less than 3000 in my opinion.

  12. I wouldnt want Robbo back. For the same reason I didnt want Brewster back. You never re-appoint a manager that has been successful in the past. Just because he did it then does not mean he will do it now. You have to bring somebody fresh in and I dont know who would want the job.

I get the feeling Butcher wont be here much longer. Especially after the way the fans in the mainstand were on his back the whole game. It was a disgrace they spent more time moaning and giving Butcher abuse than they did trying to support the team while we were looking for a winner. No wonder Butcher told the to "**** Off" during the game

Ah right, so it's the fans fault.
