I think his days of scoring ten plus in a season are possibly numbered, as i can see his career going downhill. I appreciate everything he has done in an ict shirt and his goalscoring record speaks for itself. But where a tokely can in his position get through the leagues not of course being a striker and not having to score numerous goals, tokers is not as scrutinised as someone say denzil who is targeted on his goal ratio in the top league. My point being i dont think denzil is a top league player and with age catching up on him i feel we should be handing woodsy a place next term or getting someone else in. That would mean letting Wyness go, so therefore a new contract in my view should never have been on the table. But he shouldn't have been placed in this unfortunate position in the first place basically and this should have been sorted out a long time ago and not leaving a family man in limbo at this stage of his career. :33:

Although i would say on the contrary to my origional post some of brews in-house and in-match decisions can seem baffling, or maybe there is a secret romanian director of football upstairs who is actually picking the team ala hearts and romanov, that would be speculation, wouldnt it :symbol_question: :rolleyes02: sshhh

Without this guys input to our club we wouldnt be where we are today (im confident of that) and for this i am eternally grateful to Mr Sutherland. :clapping03: I just think when we go through a spell of unrest that we are now, u look back on other points in the past where we could be on a looser footing. From the majority of games ive seen this season, his ball distribution has been woeful. He breaks up play as everyone says his best attribute, i agree, but as mentioned before more often than not his pass goes to an opposite jersey or puts a teammate in trouble. After this saga id suggest he can hop along to Falkirk or St mirren and get probably a lesser contract than what he is currently being tabled at ICT.(i only can assume btw)!! I feel for him that a certain romanian player has come in and been given this or that as a contract and he feels he has offered the club a lot over the years, TRUE enough, but for him too think he is worth anywhere near that is mindblowing. The club GAVE russell his chance of first team football after Aberdeen dumped him as a youth and he has repaid that, but id tell him not too be hasty because a string of clubs lining up too sign him there will be not, i feel. The way he has gone about this is poor form, sure he needs to get the best for his family, but hearts or hibs arent going to come in for him so what other clubs will give him what he is after? Not one more in this league id guess at. It's got to come to an end soon (ffs hurry up eh). ARE YOU IN? OR OUT? :32:

Unbelieviable first ten minutes, because other than that there was nothing in the game. Nicalue missed a couple of free efforts on goal and Shiels with his one on one effort blocked by Fraser, true bavidge style. Rankin was quiet, and all in all a dull game, however with a sequence of 3 home games coming up soon i'd hope for pointage on the board and a steady climb back into a top six position. However brew needs to get his finger oot his ar5e and try to sort out this player in one week rotational thing as not playing niculae or black one week then the next ain't good for these guys motivation/confidence in the manager areas.
