  1. To me this statement just sums up how the club and Sutherland see the fans and the trust these days, an inconvience to whatever plans he may have. The only way we can combat that is to become more of an inconvience is to carry on shouting and as many as possible join the trust, lets make the trust the strongest it has ever been
  2. Christ Alex dont be smart !!!
  3. Not an option as you can see by press release tonight the club is ruled by 1 Mr Sutherland and his little friend
  4. Not quite true Steve. He still has an investment that amounts to a 12% stake in the club. Alex I can assure you it is not an interest Thats rather disappointing .......because I think Savage just might have what it takes to take the club to another level (if not hindered by other parties) . He I think unlike the present board has AMBITION. I can assure you unlike other reports he is not interested in a power struggle

  6. I can tell you for sure, Mr Savage has no interest in the club anymore.
  7. thats the best laugh of the year , thank god its 2009 exactly where is the chairman or DOF ,puppets if not let them speak we are waiting
  8. The Chairman has nothing to do with it (yes he should) it is up to the DOF and the main shareholder this is a fact
  9. Started well but then injured for a month or so, only team he has not been plauged by injuries is ICT, there may be a theme there Dargo etc, anyway they are top of league going into winter break. Sorry all off topic
  10. Yes he is enjoying his 2 month winter break, lazy bugger. I will be speaking to him tonight at 10pm Romanian New Year, He knows who got him to the Euros, ICT and their fans pure and simple!!
  11. A Happy New Year to all ICT fans all around the world, and a great 2009 Steve
  12. I think you are putting too much weight on what is said. Until a decision is made to replace the Manager, the Board clearly has to back him. I think we have to credit the Board with realising that neither results nor performances are acceptable. Dealing with that is always easier if you are the 'opposition' rather than the 'government'. Totally disagree he should have been removed weeks if not months ago, and they are going to give him more cash to spend. Thats life I am afraid if you want to take positions of power you have to make difficult decisions, otherwise you shouldnt be in that position
  13. Ian called me just after he signed for Hearts on Sunday and he told me he was bunged up with the flu. Onto Brew I am just at a loss to explain why the board dont see what everybody else does, Brew is not up to it, they might well think it is just the wingers on this board but just about every person I speak to when I am out and about think he has to go, perhaps the board live in their own little world surrounded by yes men who tell them "dont worry you are doing a great job standing by Brew" what else can it be?
  14. I for one totally agree with what Don says above, whether you think the Trust have been effective in the past or not is not the issue here,in my opinion the trust have made the right decision in calling this meeting and all those that are not happy with the current situation should join the trust and attend the meeting.
  15. Christ that was a shock, I knew Moggy for years, I had no idea he passed away it must of been when I was overseas. Any idea on what happened to him
  16. Daftest idea I have heard yet, dont drag the fans name down that will help nobody
  17. There is no word of a move in January as that has to be sorted out between the clubs, which I think will happen
  18. I am afraid that there was little to look forward to. Changing the manager may give a lot a lift but he is making that difficult by making his chosen few the starters at the moment. Esson is a bonus - but gawd to we need a pacy and/or experienced central defender. Cowie may be the surprise package if Brew goes as I would love to see him been given a consistent role and how he performs without Brew on his back. If Black stays he may also keep us up. We also need a couple of strikers - preferably on loan. This season is now all about survival - the longer Brew stays the harder it is going to be to achieve. The players he has jettisoned is coming back to haunt him. I would seriously think about reinstating Bazza and Bayne. Then we can start looking at building a team around Duff, Vigurs, Zander etc. Is it Brew or the SFL - ABSOLUTELY. Why have Bayne back - he has only scored 3 goals in SFL whereas his team mates Phinn and Kirk have scored 5 and 9 respectively. We need a proven goalscorer at the highest level. I would certainly reinstate Bazza but sorry no to Bayne. Maybe we could do with someone in the twilight of their career to help the likes of Wood and Rooney. And, of course, you know Bayne's involvement in the other goals. Graham has never been a prolific scorer but he can make a play and create for others. Alex you are bang on there, I remember Marius telling me that Bayne was probably one of the most hard working and unselfish players he ever had the pleasure of partnering up front.
  19. If a defeat was to seal the fate of Brewster I would gladly accept a defeat for the long term benefit, however as the board have decided he is the man, hence why they are giving him cash to spend I want a win/draw as every point will be vital for us however unlikely it is.
  20. Unfortunately I cant see Brew allow a "freed" Black to "comment" on his way forward - I reckon Brew and Bennett will tell Hearts to take him now. ABSOLUTELY Totally agree I think Black has played his last game for ICT
  21. Agree with everything said here but he aint going to walk, in News of World it says even though the visiting fans called for Brewster to quit he has no intention of doing that, he said " am I confident I can turn this around? Absolutely"
  22. I actually disagree with that. Grassa is one small voice in the corridors of ICT. He has this club in his heart. He may, or may not, have had something to do with bringing Brew back but, on his own, has no power to get rid. Grassa's job is to negotiate contracts with the people identified by the manager. If there not identified there's no negotiating. Translate not identified as not wanted. I think that rather than been one small voice he represents the one big voice that is at the club, and if negotiating contracts at the club is his full remit why such is a large amount of cash been paid to him
  23. No you are right Alex but I think we all know who makes the decisions at the club
  24. Alex good post but its falling on deaf ears mate, otherwise why would they even consider continuing with Brew after the weeks of posts, emails, banners, yet the Chairman leaves on holiday saying he will give the manager funds.
  25. PR at its best
