  1. The most depressing thing about yesterday, though, was the apparent lack of fight among some of the players. I'm thinking mostly of Cowie here - there was just no drive about his game Hopefully he doesnt know his future lies elsewhere and is just going through the motions

    Very civil
  3. He is immeasurably better than his predecessor. Wyness what facts lead you to that conclusion?
  4. I totally agree with that , whoever in the club wanted Brew back had made their decision and that wasnt going to change. Trying to fight against that at the time would have been useless and while many had reservations about his appointment I for one think the best option was to get behind him and hopefully my doubts would be proved wrong. It has in my opinion now been proved that it was the wrong decision to take him back and now as things stand it is now the time to be stand up and be heard
  5. The board signed him.... yes and are still letting him hang on
  6. I agree that all the problems at the club are not down to Brewster, but I still dont think he is the right guy to manage the club, look at his record at Dundee United where he had far more financial resources, he was a disaster there as well
  7. No Scarlet I never said it was a laughing manager and I would not like it to come out of my pocket but then again I would never have appointed a manager that had such an terrible record at his previous club The point I was trying to make is that not terminating his contract now could result if far greater financial losses further down the line
  8. Well Ronaldo, it looks like the Brewster lynch mob have chosen to ignore your excellent idea - but yes, I'll go for it, let's stuff Aberdeen. In this league one good win can make a huge difference. (if we had just one win more we'd be 7th and talking about our drive towards the top six). How you fail to see there is something major wrong really amazes me
  9. I dont for a minute belive our board of directors are that blinkered that they cant see the obvious going on before their eyes. What I do believe is, this regeime is gutless and dont have the balls to punt Brewster, and the reason for that is financial. They wouldnt like to have to pay him off AND possibly have to pay compo for his sucsessor. Thing is, they are all supposed to be businessmen, would they tolerate such sub standard performance from one of their employees in their own businesses? Yes Smee but like you say they are businessmen and they should realise that keeping him wil cost a lot more in the longterm than any compo they have to pay now
  10. Smee I see where you are coming from but my worry is even then the board will not sack him, he should have been gone weeks ago.I really worry how the board fail to see what everyone else does.
  11. Do we actually have a chairman now? the club is going through the worst time since its conception and his silence has been deafening
  12. Yes and maybe even a sorry to the hardy fans that spent their hard earned cash to watch this latest disaster.

Either Brew has to do the decent thing and resign tonight or the board have to get a set of balls and sack him tonight before any more damage is done
  14. Well if robbos up for it I will also take part DONE DEAL!!! lol (we'll dicuss more over a beverage thats long in the waiting) yes mate good shout
  15. think thats a trick question
  16. brill edit :thumb04:
  17. Well if robbos up for it I will also take part
  18. first celebrity I thought I was invited to take part
  19. The way I read it was Robbo was responding to some critisism towards the fitness of the players uder his control
  20. :018: On the point of showing our appreciation I'd like to thank John for coming to the forum and cheering us up a bit. There have been a ton of very negative posts around here recently and I know I have been cheered up a good bit by the change of direction in posting that this thread has given us. :thumb04: communication is a wonderful thing this is not a question Robbo and I dont expect a response ,perhaps the reason Robbo decided to do this is that he has feelings for both the club and the fans
  21. Robbo I know you scored against Romania while my mate popescu was marking you :o :o do you feel you got as many scottish caps as you should have
  22. Glad to hear that I thought for a minute that was your wife on asking you questions robbo
  23. On the contrary Birdog ..... I think many have responded to this thread and backed the lad up in agreeing he is not the worst signing, and in many cases, theorising that all he needs is a few goals to gain confidence and show what he can do. I do think Barrowman is unlucky in the fact he has joined the club at a time where there is more discontent than ever before thus he is not been given the time that he would normally get to settle in
  24. Can you try to write normally? Some of us older posters have trouble understanding you !!! Cheers Is that what it is must be old age
  25. Far to early to tell, has he been a worse signing than Dean MacDonald? In defence of Brew every manager has made bad signings
