  1. Why do they start heating the pies at 9am for a 3 O'clock kick off? (If you are ever at the ground nice and earely you will know what I mean)
  2. Not really a question of the class of Marius but wether it was the right move for ICT, the answer is clearly no.
  3. No, he was clearly unfit and lacking in confidence, he was not going to shine for quite a time. The difference in his class/goal scoring would be the great leveller re his salary compared to the other players. He was unlikely to do this given the above and it was obviously going to create tension and resentment in the squad, which it clearly has.
  4. NO! Marius was only going to be judged on the goals that he scored for the team. He has not delivered. It has not proved to be a worthwhile experiment. The issues surrounding his pay seem to have caused some bad feeling not only amongst the squad but perhaps with the board as well? I believe he will go in the summer but doubt there will be a large fee, I cannot believe his agent will not have insisted on a clause allowing him to go if a certain offer comes in. If ICT get more than ?100,000 I will be amazed (very happily). ICT was clearly part of his rehabilitation and a stepping stone to bigger things - he was never here for the long haul. If Wyness or Bayne had played all the games that he has played this season I believe we would have scored as many goals.
  5. 2) It means we get another crack at the sheep
  6. I've seen a few posts about Marius and a large transfer fee if he leaves. What is the position on his contract if he leaves. Does it have a clause that allows him to leave if a certain amount is offered and does any of the transfer fee go to Orion to compensate for what they have paid out this season?
  7. Come on Falkirk, give us another crack at Aberdire this season. The law of averages dictates we have to beat them somtime :003: Apart from that Falkirk deserve it.
  8. Yngwie, you have posted that time will tell if Brew has got it right about a number of things and in particular Black and Wyness. If things do not improve and the next 5 (or 4 if Gretna fold) games result in defeats I doubt that there will be any time left for him. In general I agree with parts of your post that it has been easy to bash Brew on the basis of speculation and rumour - it is easy to do this when results are not going well but he has done little to help his own position. If we do not get results in the next 5 games then bye-bye Brew - he will have had enough time by then
  9. Post split fixtures are very poor. The fans can't be that bothered and neither can the players. Saying that results have been so bad since the start of the year it would be nice to be able to cheer on a win or two and the split gives us a realistic chance of that - something has to :rolleyes02: I agree that if we were in the top six it would be much more interesting playing septic and rankgers again instead of Killie and St. Midden :007:
  10. It's not really saying something. Surely you mean it isn't saying anything? :023:
  11. Hart and Rory, did i not say brew should put them on at half time! I could do a better than job than Brew and that really is saying something.
  12. Phew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Even so we should be trouncing this lot :rolleyes02:
  14. spot on James. Dennis misses again - my ears have started to bleed
  15. Is marcus still on? I've hardly heard his name this half. Another long ball :017:
  16. Time for a change or 2.
  17. 431 folks there, yikes
  18. That is just my opinion, not whats happened.
  19. Gretna now put 2 up front! Oh the shame
  20. McGuire and Imrie off and Richie and McCallister on!
  21. What will the Brew do to change things, if anything at all. Hope he doesn't take Dennis off as surely it will happen for him inthe second half. Go for it and change to a back 3 as Gretna have nothing up front.
  22. Spot on BrewArmy, however it is still gash :rolleyes02:
  23. My ears are starting to hurt :rolleyes02:
  24. I mean nothing :029:
