  1. Some of the tabloids are saying he is in real financial trouble.........looks like the dream is over.

What have i said to you about reading tabloids...   :016:

The Gretna fairytale is a surreal existance, the fans probably had a deep feeling of  'When is the bubble going to burst?' well it has now.

I hope they enjoyed it will it lasted.

Sometimes even they get it right, BBC Scotland are reporting betweeen 1.3 and 3 million quid in debt. Can't see them lasting till the end of the season if this is correct.

  2. I thank you!

But seriously, if you combine several of your players not knowing where their future lies, and a club uncertain of where it's place is in the league, you have to admit there is no surprise that we are currently struggling to play as a team, the thing that got us to the SPL in the first place.

    One bright note......................................................

    We're not Gretna.

  3. Another of the fans from the same bus wanders off down a farm track, he espies  a small pile of brown pills and fancies his chances. A local farmer appears and the fan "asks what are these"?. The farmer says " they're learning pills".  The fan thinks " I'll have some of that ". One taste and he spits the pill oot......" that taste's like sheep sh*t!"....he cried.

    Ye're learning ......... :023:

  4. I went on a week's golf holiday with 3 friends.  All one of them took with him was a pair of underpants and a ?5 note.  He didn't change either of them all week!!!!

:rotflmao: I think he comes on our annual golf trip!!

One of my mates came down from Dundee to Swindon for a long weekend on the sesh and just brought his wallet and a toothbrush

  5. I believe that recent results are down to the board and management not knowing where the club should be going next.

Yes we are now an established SPL club, yes we are safe from relegation again this season, yes on our day we are a match for the old firm, yes on our day we are capable of beating the rest, but are we improving? No!

I had a conversation with one of our players after the Hearts game, and the impression I was left with was that a lot of our players feel insecure about their jobs, not knowing if they are part of the future of ICT, not knowing what direction the club is taking. Breaking the wage structure with MN while denying other players an appropriate wage is just the tip of the iceberg.

I'm not blaming CB, nor ignoring his role in team selection, I'm just worried that as a club we have no direction.

Do we remain stagnant as an established SPL maker upper ( and flirt with relegation ), or do we invest in playing staff and make serious efforts to attract more supporters and get into Europe. I look to the board for leadership.

    Bring it on.

  6. Action man....its ok........it comes to us all..............I know a good vet, one wee jab, and it could all yer suffering could be over :blah01:

It is a worry, but at least I can still write properly constructed sentences.  :blah01:

  7. At least Harry has some nice holiday videos to show the folks....here's me playing rugby,..........here's me walking the streets of somewhere dusty with a hundred bodyguards,............oh and look, here's me shooting some of the natives....ah what memories!

If we ever had a plot in Afghanistan, we have well and truly lost it.

  8. I'm with Smee on this one, Newton Faulkner, amazing guitar and vocals.  :022:

    sickening!

This coming from someone who listens to Daft Punk :024:

    Yes!!

You seem to have good taste other wise SMEE (Radiohead, Thom Yorke). I'll just ignore the Newton f***kner stuff! And what's wrong with Daft Punk??!

I knew a daft punk once, he works in a bank now. Just goes to show.

  9. Progressed from Commando books when eh was a lad on to the Sven Hassel books and the antics of the penal corp, then went and joined up thinking life in the military would be a big adventure with spitfires and meschersmitts having dogfights over the white cliffs.....ended up in the NAAFI at Kinloss. The glamour of the brylcreem boys....

HD's Battle of Britain was fighting over the dogs in the NAFFI at Kinloss.  :police: "Schweinhunds" :sillywave:

  10. One of the greatest moments in my life was singing "cheerio cheerio" to the Celtic fans as they streamed out before the final whistle. The hairs on the back of my neck stand up when i think of the pure joy of those moments, never to be forgotten.

Heroes to a man, and woman, players and fans alike. A truly magical night.  :clapping03:
