The most worrying thing I took from the game last night is how woeful Rory and Denzil were, Rory did try but in my opinion he just doesn't have it yet but Denzil just wandered about the park and didn't look interested. But some of the chances we missed were awful, two open goals for Rory! Defence wasn't sharp I thought Caff had a shocker. But credit to Peterhead they scored 3 superb goals, Mark had nothing to do apart ftom pick the ball out of the net, no chance at any of them. Oh well, bring on the mighty Deveronvale tonight!! I just hope its cheap to get in, £10 last night was a scandal!!!

Me and mooncat are going tomorrow night, going to the Banff game on Wed as well. Last year we played Peterhead for the Buchan Cup, not sure if Deveronvale are involved this year or not.

My favourite image of this world cup has got to be the picture of Deco and Van Bronckurst after they had been sent off in the Portugal Holland match just sitting on the steps having a chat. Can't find a copy of that picture anywhere on the net though.

Its definitely a cake. Going to get a bit boring now but it was settled because of a VAT case. There's no VAT on plain biscuits or cakes but there is on chocolate biscuits so Customs tried to say that Jaffa Cake was a biscuit and McVities had to start paying VAT on sales. They went to court to claim that it was in fact a cake and used the reasoning already mentioned, when stale a biscuit goes soft whereas a cake goes hard. A stale jaffa cake goes hard so it must be a cake. This was accepted and it is now officially a cake! God, my tax module did teach me something!!

Russell Duncan has been a great player for us this season, yes some passes can go off a bit but every player has been guilty of that. The thing with Duncan is that you never really notice him when he's having a good game, its only when something goes wrong . And in my opinion that's the sign of a good player. The people who slag him off should watch just him for a wee while, bit like having player cam and watch what he does. I'm really glad he's signed up, well done Russell.

DU are going to have to pay these guys off if they want rid right away, and I'd say that they're all on pretty hefty wages so that won't be cheap. Thomson's already said that the days of throwing money at the club are over so if we keep our prices high they won't be able to afford them. Anyway, why would anyone want to go to Dundee??!!! :roll:
