Ben Foster was brought to Man Utd as their future number 1, and came back on loan to be No.2 this season, but injury has prevented that. As already mention he was one of the best keepers in the league last season and I doubt he would come here. Having said that though, that is the type of deal we should be looking at for a keeper. If Dunfermiline can get an (ex) Scotland goalie in Paul Gallacher, and they are in the first divsion and Falkirk can get young prospects like Schmeichel and Krul, im sure we can. But the trouble is,who?

  13. Cant compalin with a 6 - 0 win, but their keeper was awful and we did get a dodgy penelty or two. Italy result was interesting and will keep us in with a very small chance but wednesdays game is very important. We MUST get 3 points!!
  14. We did play some good football at times on Saturday, with some slick passing and pace on the counter attack. Only thing lacking was a little bit of quality in the last 3rd with crossing and finishing.
  15. Yeah I agree with most thats been said. The ref's second half perofrmance was awful and some of his decisions puzzling. How many free kicks did they have in and around our box throughout the game? A fair few Id say.
  16. " Scotland coach Walter Smith has made four changes to the squad which will travel to Japan next week for the Kirin Cup tournament. Manchester United Darren Fletcher has recovered quickly from a knee injury and makes a welcome return to the squad, while there are also places for Livingston defender David McNamee, Dundee United striker Lee Miller and young Everton goalkeeper Iain Turner. Out of the squad are three Celtic players, Shaun Maloney, Stephen McManus and David Marshall, who have been withdrawn because of club commitments, while Wolves striker Kenny Miller has a hamstring injury. " Im sure Iain Turner is a good enough keeper, but it amazes me that Walter Smith doesnt select Mark Brown
  17. Motherwell down to 10 men, Alan McCormack sent off for two bookable offences
