I've been a big critic of his, but Vigurs had an excellent game last night. As mentioned above though, Henri Anier was absolutely abysmal. If we were relegated to the Highland League and he offered to play for free I wouldn't retain him.

McCoist was offered the job years ago and turned it down due to our location. He didn't do a very good job at Rangers even when they were playing part time sides every week. If he wasn't great with a team that was always on the front foot, I wouldn't fancy our chances with him in charge of a side that could possibly (should we stay up) be under the cosh most weeks. He seems like a nice enough guy, but he wouldn't be my choice.

Was there not talk that the fact that Hughes had had experience of relegation battles was also something that put him above Hartley? Would certainly make sense. Also, were the fans really by and large unhappy by Butcher's appointment? I recollect quite the opposite.

Would the club ever bring out a sponsorless kit to buy as some other teams do? I might be more open to buying one if one was available and even if it costed a little more. That's another good thing about punting Carbrini by the way. Even their polo shirts and stuff had their name plastered absolutely everywhere. It looked so tacky and cheap.

Amazing how Russell Latapy seems to have become this coaching guru in the eyes of many since he left. Speak to folk who came into contact with him and they'll tell you his influence on the team was next to nothing, hence why he was removed from his position.

It's good to see that we've finally seemed to have made red and blue stripes our 'thing'. Don't mind the white collar but it'd be nice to have little more black in the kit. A black stripe down the side instead of the white one would've looked a bit better IMO.

Like the home top. The away one is a little unusual but I can live with it.
