  1. It seems that every candidate put forth has been a bloke. Why not become the first team in the SPL to have a female boss? I would propose the manager of the England womens team. Quite highly regarded and has quite a good record IIRC. Just can't remember her name though.
  2. I don't know if my reply was considered personal abuse BUT if it was, I can only state it could have been much worse, believe me! How anyone can make that sort of statement, on here, beggers belief! What has the wee boy done to deserve that? Be his Dad's son? Go to the match and fit in with the other supporters? Be young? Naive? Leave him alone - this is no better than playground bullying. Calling a wee fellow names!! . Has nowt to do with any of those reasons I can tell you.

  4. He seems to be wanting every management job under the sun. He wanted the Leyton Orient job the other day.
  5. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/ear...article/124914/ Poor county, he must have been so close.
  6. Doesn't surprise me, probably just did it to be like everyone else and anyway. How you can make a statement like that about a wee laddie is beyond my ken!! For Heavens sake grow up and realise that he, his parents, grannie etc may read this. It would appear from your contribution that there is no doubt that you are the sharpest tool in the toolshed!! Aye, Right!! Trust me, I know.

  8. What absolute drivel. It's not the first time you've shown your vendetta against him. And the worst ever, did you ever see Les Fridge play? Now he was terrible.
  9. Of all the possible candidates mentioned from various sources, who would you most like to see as ICT manager. If your candidate is not mentioned in the poll, then mention his/her name further down.
  10. I wonder if the "dressing room source" is a certain Ian Black.
  11. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/2009/01...86908-21055393/ Apparently Geoff Brown has told ICT to go nowhere near their manager Derek McInnes.
  12. I thought there was a thread for this already My new team - ---------------------------------Esson------------------------------------- -------------------Mihadjuks------------------Munro------------------------ ---Tokely---------------------------------------------------McBain--------- ---------------------Black---------------------Vigurs----------------------- ---Cowie-----------------------------------------------------Imrie---------- ---------------------Morais-------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------Rooney----------------------- Subs - Fraser, Duff, Proctor, Wood/Zander, Barrowman, Hastings, Byrne/Gathuessi I'd have Tokely and McBain as attacking wing backs, with Pavels and Munro as the centre-backs. Black and Vigurs in the middle with Cowie at right wing and Imrie at left wing. Rooney up front with Morais just behind him to the right, so Morais can also help out the midfield, should he need to, with Cowie and Imrie also availsable to join in, in the attack.
  13. What is it about reporters and the OF?
  14. This possible signing is all up in the air now.
  15. I dont' know why but Butcher seems to ring out for me for some reason, and the Butcher/Pressley candidacy could be good. I can't see Robbo coming back cause he doesn't seem to get on with Sutherland, Paterson - no chance, McCoist - no chance, Craig Brown - no chace, Jim Duffy - no, Shearer - no, I don't know much about Knox so don't know if he'd be good or not, but what about Lothar Matthaus? He's managing some team in Israel just now I think, I could be good (a no nonsense German). But you have to remember, that every time ICT lose a manager the same names are always popped out (Paterson, Park, Craig Brown, Robbo) and one things guaranteed, it's never one of them. I don't think Robbo should return due to the fact that I'd like to see someone new brought, not someone from the same old bunch. Or what about the guy who was 5000-1 to take the West Ham job, Barack Obama? Though I hear he's a bit busy over the next few days.
  16. If I were to move to a non-English speaking country, I would try my best (even though I'm useless at languages) to learn the lingo. Even a few phrases to get by is a better thing to do than nowt.
  17. When you know that the Director of Football/Caretaker Manager's teenage son is against you, your time is up.
  18. How would you like your hat ? Well done / medium ? Would you like anything with your hat ? I must say it sure tasted good. But seriously, I don't believe it, I really don't. I was just thinking, just a few hours ago that there's no chance he'd go, and that the sacking is even less likely. I really thought he was here for good. I don't believe it. :thumb04:
  19. I see Malky's been asked to leave!
  20. Inverness sack manager Brewster Brewster is no longer in charge at the Caledonian Stadium Inverness Caledonian Thistle have parted company with manager Craig Brewster after a run of seven consecutive league defeats. The Highland club sit bottom of the Scottish Premier League table, one point adrift of 11th-placed Falkirk. Brewster was in his second spell at the club, having resumed control of the team in August 2007. The 42-year-old enjoyed a successful stint as player-manager before leaving for Dundee United in January 2006. A miserable run at Tannadice ended after just three victories in 10 months and Brewster returned to playing with Aberdeen before his return to the Caledonian Stadium. Assistant manager Malcolm Thomson has also been asked to leave, with football director Graeme Bennett taking over on a temporary basis, along with first team coach John Docherty and goalkeeping coach Stuart Garden. Chairman George Fraser said:"This decision was not taken lightly but we feel it is in the best interests of the club looking forward. "We thank Craig and Malcolm for their endeavours and extend our best wishes to both for their future. "The process of identifying a new management team is under way with the target of an early appointment geared to ensuring that the club retains its SPL status for the 2009-10 season."

    Brewster Poll

It'll be an intersting Boardroom Banter this month.
  22. I didn't say I was offended, I said it was sad.
  23. Actually I think Esson was on trial for a couple of games and only properly signed just before the County friendly.
  24. There are more brits emigrating each year than migrants to the UK. How many of those bother about the language? You've got to look at where most of these folk go though. Australia, New Zealand, America, Canada must all be pretty high on the emmigration list. No they dont. I have friends and relatives living and working in Spain. None of them speak Spanish. Must be something Zapatero wants to bring in then, cause I'm certain that I heard that there was talk of it coming in.
  25. Here' the trialists I can remember that have come under Brewster, with people in bold are those who have signed deals: Ryan Esson, Dan Wagaluka, Juanjo, Lionel Djebi-Zadi, Richie Byrne, Adam Rooney, Ibrahim Atiku, Ryan Harper, Sean Evans, Pavels Mihadjuks, that other Lavian bloke, Tony Dining (may be offered contract), Bechan?, that ginger guy from Man U (Michael Barnes?) and probably a couple more that I can't remember.
