  1. How do you know that?
  2. I can assure you it is nothing to do with Hagi as the club have no links with him I thought Hagi and his mate Popesue (or something like that) were ICT's Easter European scouts. No they never were , Popescu has a football academy in Romania which is generally considered the best in Eastern Europe. He offered ICT a tie up with that where they would get the pick of his best young players free of charge, the club had 2 appointments to go across to discuss this with him further but for whatever reason didnt turn up on each occasion so the whole thing died. Hagi was never invloved I think his name just came up as he is Popescus brother in Law If that is true, then ICT are utter fools. And I was always under the impression that Niculae was a product of the Popescu/Hagi scouting thing and Hagi was mentioned on the BBC commentary of one of the Romania as one of ICT's scouts. Maybe not then. Edited to say, here's the link from a while back. http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...pic=3765&hl=
  3. It's interesting really. Every now and again, and it seems to be every week or so another one of Brew's cheerleaders comes out of their lonely cave and posts some drivel about how great Brew is and how we should all get "behind the team". I'm 100% behind the team, but I'm so much behind the team that I don't want them to go down, if that means booting Brew, then so be it. First there was FootyFanatic, then ILUVBREW and now BringBackBavidge. Are these club insiders trying to sway us to get behind a fallen comrade? This poster says yes. Don't worry. Should my views differ from those who frequent this site just let the Moderators know and I will be blocked. Lets hope so.
  4. What about expreienced, squadless Jordi Cruyff.
  5. This is a must win game for ICT, so the strongest line-up is required: -------------------------------------Esson---------------------------------------- -----Tokely----------Mihadjuks------------------Munro----------Hastings---------- -----Morais--------------------------Black*-----------------------Imrie------------ ----------------------Cowie---------------------Vigurs---------------------------- -------------------------------------Rooney-------------------------------------- * - If Black has left at this point, stick Duncan in his position. If this happens, Gatheussi is put on the bench. Subs: Fraser, Proctor, Wood, Duff, Zander, Barrowman, Duncan

  7. http://www.theherald.co.uk/sport/other/dis...he_business.php That means the final bits of paperwork will have to be tied up on the morning of the cup game if we are to have him available. However, both of the former Hibs lads are now signed Caley Thistle players, not loan players, until the end of the season. So they're not loanys then, they're proper players....right?
  8. I see ICT have actually properly signed this guy. Could be a good bit of business and at least he's a centre-back with a bit of height. http://www.theherald.co.uk/sport/other/dis...he_business.php
  9. So far as I'm aware Brewster has never turned out in a reserve match since he stopped playing. He did, as Dalneigh say's, turn out in bounce game against Clach recently. If the old memory serves correct Brew was told to have an operation, that didn't guarantee success, or stop playing competitive football or run the risk of more serious, disabling, damage. He chose to stop playing. As such, although he keeps himself fit enough he's probably a million miles away from being match fit so I'd say he'd be more a hindrance than an asset in a team. I think he has turned out for one reserve game this season, though played as a centre-back. He also turned out up-front in the pre-season game against someone like Brora. I think he scored aswell in that game IIRC.
  10. And Here's The Other One Looks like a right cheery chap.
  11. Here He Is
  12. Or what about Juninho, who is without a team at the moment.
  13. It was mentioned on here a while back and I reckon a good move for ICT could be a move for Eugene Dadi. Fairly experienced and wants to return to Scotland apparently. He's also scored quite a few times for Perth Glory. A good target perhaps? By the way, just checking Wikipedia and Perth also have a guy Amaral playing for them, who is a former Brazilian internationalist. Both are thirty-five and are probably better than ICT's current crop. Could be the experience Brew is looking for.
  14. On CTO just now you see a lot of folk saying that Tokers aint good enough and so on and so forth but here's the thing, he is one of ICT's, if not the most dangerous attacking players at ICT and with Black and probably Cowie going, here's the solution, playing at right wing. By doing this he wouldn't need to keep trotting up and down the pitch when wat he could do is just stay further up. He played at the this position against Aberdeen last season and I thought that was the best performance I'd seen all season by an ICT player. He also has the build to make his presence felt in an area of the pitch where it could really benefit the whole team. I good idea methinks.
  15. And I'm sure the people of Haiti love their new oppressive regime.
  16. Now I know some folk on here will be saying "He only scored two goals last season" and "He aint good enough", well at this point in time I'd say that he's better than of ICT strikers with the exception maybe of Rooney but he created a lot of chances and set up a lot of goals for others, even if he didn't score that many himself. He could also be the kind of player to play in the 4-5-1 formation away from home. If I were manager, I'd be going for him in the current state of the team. Bring Back Bayne!
  17. With George W. only having a few days left of his presidency, should Dubya be impeached for things like the Iraq War, Gitmo and many more?
  18. I reckon the one of the reasons why nowt happened is because some folk are all talk. "Yeah I'm gonna protest", "Lets do a big protest". This kinda talk. But, when the time comes the chicken out.

    Deja Brew 2

Sophia actually turned up on P&B recently, here's her reaction to the Rangers game: I agree with RiG. Have to look on the bright side though, at least Proctor never sold all three goals (Fir Park) by not bothering to get close to his man. How others can call for The Emperor Rosko to be replaced by him is beyond me. It pains me to say it, but Pressley for Proctor would seem to be sensible at this juncture. All it took today was the loss of a goal to render Thistle completely shapeless and beaten. I note Barry Wilson made an ostentatious entrance five minutes into the game and took his place amongst the home fans in the North Stand. Mmm. __________________________________________________________________ ____________ And here's her reaction to Black going to Hearts, yet again in that bizarre style: Another ineffectual effort saw WeeIan pulled off by Brewster. Brings to mind a dolly chuck (did he storm out of the stadium?) incident when a poster on an ICT website pleaded for special allowances for special players. George Best was cited. Good old "gillian black"! Now, George Best was one of the finest players ever, WeeIan is not even the best midfielder ever to play for Thistle! The only allowance I would make is extra shooting practice, his efforts today were down to his usual standard. __________________________________________________________________ _________ God, I hope she doesn't make a return here. Her long metaphors were just bizarre and the irritating way she used to go on these strange witch-hunts was just weird and she could start an argument with a brick wall.
  20. next manager? Me
  21. I wouldn't say obsessed, I just reckon I know the best place to play him, further up the pitch where he's quite good, not at the back where he's a liability. Same goes for Tokely.
  22. After another shambles it's time for a big change me thinks: ---------------------------------Esson------------------------------- -----------Proctor----------------Duff--------------Munro------------ ---Cowie-------------------------Black-----------------------Imrie--- -------------------------------Djebi-Zadi----------------------------- ---------Tokely*------------------Wood------------Rooney------------- *If Tokely is out injured, stick Imrie up front with Hastings at left wing or Lionel to replace Tokely with Vigurs coming in infront of Black. Partick seem to be big on the 3-5-2, so with 3 up-front, they have to keep the denfender back at all times. If Lionel uses his pace and joins it to make it a front 4 then they'll have to keep more back (if he was played in this position he'd be a real handful I reckon). Esson in goal, Proc right back. Duff centre-back and Munro left-back. The midfield three of Cowie, Black and Imrie, with big Lionel just infront, for some presense in the midfield and so he can knock it on to the front three. Wood up front as the target man, Rooney to knock it in and Tokers right forward to jazz around there as well (know there's a thought, Roscoe and Lionel unfront, hmm). There you go, makes complete sense. Subs: Fraser, Hastings, Barrowman, Duncan, McBain, Vigurs, McGuire
  23. No chance, one of the reasons Christie resigned was because of the stress of the job. This guys got heart conditions and the stress of managing an SPL club could be fatal for him.
  24. Dear oh dear. This language is truely disgusting and this makes your anti-swearing argument completely redundant. It also make you a hypocrite. You should be ashamed of yourself. haha your so funny. I wouldn't class saying a p i s s up as a swear word. Where did I actually say I didn't swear though, never said that. Whatever My god what planet are you on.Brewster must have really got to you with a selection and formation like that. But you can just imagine it. Big Lionel terrorising the Rangers back four with his height, slinky skills and blistering pace. Well some of us can dream.
  25. What about Canadian internationalist Chris Kozniak from Dundee?
