  1. Rooney on for Barroboy.... I sent TB a text.
  2. Not hearing much mention of Barrowman.... Time for a change? Rooney or Vigurs?
  3. Sounds like a good game... and going pretty well for us. Wish I'd gone now.
  4. Falkirk 1-0 up... Going well....
  5. I agree with that... same tactics as they used against Rangers at Ibrox a few weeks ago. It would also be good for Proctor to fall over in the Midden box in stoppage time. You have to play to your strengths in this game.
  6. I agree... it is being hyped up out of all proportion now by the media and the Who. I was never a big Roger Daltrey fan anyway.
  7. With his height and aerial ability the big man's a natural centre-half. I'd love to see him getting a run in that slot with Pavels playing a kind of sweeper role... Can anyone else out there remember Miller & McLeish?
  8. I can't understand how you guys can sleep at night with thoughts like these occupying your minds!
  9. Ferguslie? You don't mean Ferguslie Park? The last time I was down there delivering something to a house, somebody stole all four wheels from my transit van.
  10. I liked this comment from the article : A spokesman for Ross County declined to comment.
  11. Why should that be so strange Charles? See here
  12. Susan Boyle has an amazing voice but has much more talent!
  13. Maybe global warming and the recession, but.....
  14. There are some lovely hopeful, optimistic comments on this thread regarding our SPL future... I just wish I could agree with them.
  15. Why don't you send him an obscene and abusive PM.... Oh sorry, I forgot... you can't, can you..? :thumb04: i didn't lose pm use for sending obscene and abusive pm's you ! Get your facts right boy . :018: I didn't say you had.
  16. :018: :thumb04:
  17. Centre-half.... I'd also make him captain.
  18. Why don't you send him an obscene and abusive PM.... Oh sorry, I forgot... you can't, can you..? :thumb04:
  19. I couldn't care who wins in the semis.... All I want to see is both Midden and Falkirk's best players struck down with career threatening injuries and ruled out for the rest of the season.
  20. I've always gone by Parkers Used car guide Strangely the spring problem doesn't get a mention here. According to Arnold Clark there was not a recall issued for this problem. The chances are the previous (original) owners of the car were contacted by Citroen. If they were they must have chosen to ignore it. QUOTE (CaleyD @ Apr 22 2009, 11:32 AM) Always amazes me that people will take time to properly read a food label on an item costing a couple of pounds but will blindly part with cash for a car costing thousands after doing nothing more than taking a quick look at it!!! I don't pay much attention to food labels either, CD.... Do you?
  21. Does any one else out there own one of these potential death traps. My wife got one on an 04 plate about a year ago. It has been ok so far - no problems at all until Monday. Reversing out our back yard one of the front springs suddenly broke and the sharp end of the spring embedded itself in the tyre causing it to instantly burst. My first call was to the dealer who sold us the car - Arnold Clark - All they said at first was to get the car down to them and they would have a look at it. The car was undriveable - there was no point in changing the front wheel because of the way the sharp end of the broken spring was pressing against the wheel/tyre. Next call was to Caley100 to get his advice. Interestingly he explained this was a problem with certain Citroen cars because the spring is eliptical rather than round and when it breaks, the broken end shoots out and embeds itself in the tyre. He agreed with me that had the car been on the road when the spring broke - doing say 70mph on a dual carriegeway it would have been catastrophic. This was was the right hand front spring that broke - if it had been travelling at speed it would have veered across the carriegeway - probably turning over at the same time. Caley100 kindly offered to get the car picked up for us and take to his own place for repair. Thinking further about the consequences of a spring breaking at speed prompted me to contact Citroen at the HQ. There was no one to take my call but I was able to leave a message with them in which I voiced my concerns with this problem. A couple of hours later I got a call from Arnold Clark saying they had been contacted by Citroen HQ and told to replace both front springs free of charge as a "goodwill" gesture. I suspect they are aware there is a potentially serious problem with springs on these cars breaking. There are millions of these cars on the road - if Citroen were ordered to recall them all and fit modified springs it would probably put them out of busness. If anyone of you drive one of these cars you should be aware of this potentially lethal problem. I can't praise Caley100 highly enough for his valueable and helpful advice in this matter.
  22. I sympathise with EWS in his Catch 22 housing situation - getting stabbed every day can't be much fun either. Do you have to live in Glasgow EWS?
  23. I'd be sorry to see Rangers and Celtic quit the SPL.... Along with Aberdeen and Hibs they are just about the only teams we have taken any points off this season. Oh... and St Midden of course.... mustn't forget we murdered them a couple of weeks ago.
