  1. We've got an excellent chance of salvaging the 1 point we need.... But only if Esson's back in goal.
  2. Well I have because I can go back about 100 years... Denis Law for me....
  3. I cant believe anyone would post such drivel . This is the bloke that was in charge of a team that was crying out for an experienced striker yet wouldn't risk his shoulder but as soon as he gets the sack his shoulder injury isn't a problem and he pulls on the boots to play for dross county , erse of a man . Sorry DC.... What I should have said is that I hope he gets bowel cancer, and that his next sh!te's a hedgegog.
  4. I reckon if we can keep a hold of him through 2009/10 we could get much, much more than 150K for him. He's still not the finished article but he is improving all the time. We've all seen flashes of what he's capable of..... he has the potential to become a great player.
  5. Brewster did all right for ICT in his first stint with the club - thanks mainly to his contributions as a player.... It was unfortunate things didn't work out for him second time around. I wish him well in his new post and seriously hope that he manages to ressurrect his managerial career
  6. Has he played his last game for ICT? It's been mentioned on another thread that the relationship between him and Butcher is beyond repair. If true, and I have heard it from a couple of different sources now, it is very disturbing, especially with Fraser on his way out. I would rate Esson as one of the best keepers in the SPL and one of Brewster's better signings for ICT.... :024:
  7. I just wish Butcher and Esson could patch up their differences. Fraser might not have been to blame for either goal, but I'd still be happier with Esson between the sticks for these remaining vital games.
  8. Very cushy number being a policeman in Fife...
  9. Good to see Robbo back online again. How do you see tonight's game going JR?
  10. More significant now but not so once the last ball has been kicked. I would say that in terms of giving the team the impetus to get us back into a winning frame of mind then Blackie's penalty against Rangers is perhaps the most significant goal of the season and perhaps if things go our way could be looked upon as the one which will secure us survival. I agree... Blackie was brilliant that night and that goal did give the team a massive boost.... Maybe he'll manage the same feat tonight - ideally in stoppage time again!
  11. Yeah.... but goals scored tonight and on Saurday could be much more significant now that we know what we have to do to survive.
  12. Ok for you to issue personal insults of course...
  13. That probably gets taken into account when they calculate their charges for policing one of our games.
  14. I can't recall Fraser ever giving away a penalty, or being sent off.... But I agree - it wouldn't be a bad thing to have Esson coming on if that ever happened! I love all this hypothetical stuff....so much more interesting than reality.
  15. Fraser has the potential to become a better keeper than Esson... but right now experience and confidence is paramount... Esson should be between the sticks for the final 3 games - he and Butcher are just gonna have to kiss and make up.
  16. So that's it then - they've said sorry and it's back to business as usual. They just don't get it do they - the dismissive and even defiant attitude to public opinion is breathtaking. The ministers from the DWP attack the sick, the disabled and the unemployed, while all the time they are renovating their properties and enhancing their lifestyles with public funds. New drugs and treatments are denied on cost grounds while saunas, gardens and tudor beams are installed. Normal folk are jailed for the heinous crime of not having a t.v. licence, elderly in England are locked up for not paying their council tax and Joe and Joanne Bloggs are dragged into the sheriff court if they fail disclose 1 minute of paid employment while tax is avoided on property deals by MP.s Service personnel are sent into combat with inadequate and outdated equipment leading to many killed and wounded while we pay a private security company to look after a millionaire's property because she didn't feel safe in London Many frail and elderly have died last winter because of fuel bills but Willetts needs cash to install 100 bulbs never mind the green issue - must be some property with 100 light fittings. This is nothing more than wanton and unashamed theft from the public purse - from the very people we elect to look after our interests.... They should have called in the police right enough.... but not to investigate who grassed them to the Telegraph.
  17. Great idea Absent Friend - you're really on the ball this morning! So who should we engage to tackle the problem of those who have lost their jobs? What about the Employment Minister?
  18. Unfortunately for Lionel he's very noticeable and instantly recogniseable on the park... He's very tall of course...
  19. Aye.. You'd laff at anything so you would!! You'd laff at a wummin shakin' a duster oot a windae!! :015: :015: :015: :015:
  20. I've just watched it again.... Still can't believe he didn't score. He hit it with the outside of his left foot and kind of screwed it just right of the post. It was a terrible pass from Lionel - but Ikey should have known better than give it to him in the first place.
  21. Possibly.... but I very much doubt he'd come to us.
  22. That the free-kick your talking about??? He was through one on one with Fraser and knocked it an inch outside Ikey's left post. I thought it was a certain goal.
  23. Has Proctor got a twin brother?
  24. That's right.... He had a good game there once - which is more than can be said for several others...
  25. 5 - 4 - 1 for me. Esson Proctor Tokely Mihadjuks Munro McBain Morais Kerr Blak Imrie Foran
