What's the point? The point is you've outlined the supporters' concerns very cogently with that post. I have no idea how many board members check out this site, but I for one would be very happy if they were to collectively sit round a table and consider and discuss all of your comments... Unfortunately I accept that would be an extremely unlikely scenario....

I'm not confused at all. I'm quite sure Kingsmills was suggesting that the city of Inverness was perhaps not as fashionable, or as trendy a place for a successful footballer in which to live as Aberdeen. I just don't see why that should be the case. What does the city of Aberdeen have to offer that Inverness can't..? You could argue that Aberdeen F.C are a much bigger club than ICT - bigger support, pay higher wages, etc, etc... That may very well make a move to Aberdeen seem like a much more attractive proposition than a move to Inverness. But that doesn't make Aberdeen any nicer a place in which to live than Inverness.

Do you regard Aberdeen as a much more desirable place in which to live than Inverness...? If so... Why.?

Is Aberdeen like some kind of Celestial City now...? Last time I was there the place was full of winos, beggars and down & outs.. The city council has got itself in a complete mess regarding basic services the rest of us in civilisation take for granted. Why shouldn't Nicholson want to come to Inverness & and ICT...? He would be working with a manager he got on well with as a player. We have already demonstrated we can attract top European Internationalists here... Why would Nicholson not be interested...?

Thanks to the Immortal Howden Ender, who of course is very well connected with most of the higher echelons at ICT, Mrs Johnboy and I got a chance to sample the hospitality at the recent Aberdeen game... We thoroughly enjoyed our day... the food and drink was of the highest quality - our deal included a four course lunch which left me struggling to eat Mrs JB's pie at half-time. These pies were different class - in fact the best I've ever tasted anywhere. The seats we had were excellent - the only sour note of the day was when Aberdeen grabbed the winning goal in the 95th minute of the 4 minutes stoppage time that was added. Joining a high flying, ambitious Scottish club like ICT was a very good move for Marius, Stevico1... :018: He has come on leaps and bounds since he arrived here and has been made to fight for a place in the team in amongst seasoned pros like Graham Bayne and Dennis Wyness - and not forgetting up and coming rising stars like Rory McAllister... If Marius keeps working on his fitness and endeavours to learn a few new skills from team-mates such as Russel Duncan and Don Cowie, he could have a very good future in this game indeed, maybe even as a Romanian international... :023:
