There are plenty of areas & opportunities on this site for posting all kinds of criticism on anyone's performance on a given day.... What I'm objecting to is the designation of 1 thread for the sole purpose of inviting adverse & sometimes insulting comments on 1 individual player......... What can possibly be achieved by this? Apart from politicians (and they deserve all the abuse they get) how many other professional people have to put up with so much bullsh*t from individuals who have never even played football, let alone reached premier league status.....?

I would agree with that last paragraph, Scotty - Fw's post was the most sensible and ideally, should wrap up this thread.... but it won't.... KB - I would class Mark Brown as one of the best keepers in the SPL... but I'm quite sure he would be the first to admit he should have done better for the first goal ... it was a good stop but if you're not sure about holding on to it you push it to safety.... For him it was a rare mistake.... St Mirren definitely got a lift from that goal.....

No - It was just an observation, Kencar... I thought the whole team played on Saturday like they had gigantic hangovers..(unusual for Inverness based lads!) I'm quite sure we'll see a completely different performance against Aberdeen... God I hope so..... If anyone is thinking about moving on - they should be trying to produce career best performances...

He never played for his country again after that... his international career ruined by some scum who called themselves Scotland fans.... :015: :015: Just Liam Keoch..!!?? No, I don't accept that you are right, but I would accept you would murder me in any ensuing debate..!! I just don't think any professional person, going about his lawful business, doing the job he gets paid for, should have to put up with any kind of abuse, whether delivered from the stands or via posts on a website, irrespective of how he has performed..... The manager is the one that picks the team, and gives them their instructions. It's up to him to work out why a player might not be contributing to the team's overall performance and to take action as he sees fit.... The fans are quite entitled to vent their spleen on him when results and performances are not forthcoming..... Just ask Craig Brewster...!!!
