  1. .............Esson..........

    Tokely.....Hogg.....Munro.....Duff

    Hayes....Duncan....Ross.....Doran

    ...........Foran..........

    ...........Rooney.........

Subs : Tuffey, Innes, Eric, Cox, Sutherland.

Hoping Hayes is fit.... If not Cox in centre mid, with Nick Ross right mid.

  2. Agree with all the above....

A Top 6 finish is still well and truly in our own hands now, and with Munro, Ross, Morrison and Gillet, and possibly Johnny Hayes all on the verge of being available for selection, things are now starting to look up.

There was a terrific fighting spirit right through the team against St Johnstone - they really battled for every scrap. More of the same on Saturday should help us get a win against the Hibs, and that would set us up nicely for the Dundee Utd game next Wednesday night.

A tall order I know, but 6 points from our next two games, or even 4 out of 6 will make us very hard to catch.

  3. If our Board have moved more in favour of the proposal, I'd be fairly sure that it's because they are now of the opinion that it is in ICT's interest.

That doesn't necessarily mean that it's in the interest of ICT fans, though.

My response to that would be that TB doesn't think it is in ICT's interest.

Kind of boils down to a case of who's opinion you respect or agree most with.

  4. Nothing like a worthless threat to start off the evening.

To somehow turn the farce that is SPL reconstruction into an attack on our Chairman takes a degree of negative thinking I can only aspire to. No doubt your strategic, well thought out threat will have George in turmoil as he wrestles with the rights and wrongs of the saga whilst, at the same time, having to deal with the devastating impact on his life caused by your post.

I wouldn't say PMF has instigated a worthless thread.

What would be your preferred form of SPL reconstruction?

Or, to put it another way which approach do you think our club should favour? That proposed by TB, which has been well documented or the one that now appears to have found favour by GF - and of course, our largest shareholder.

  5. Just for the record I have watched Aaron play for over 10 years in Dublin and have put my neck on the line about nine years ago when he was about 10 years old in stating he

would be a full international and play at the highest level in england . Glad you like him so far , I will be over the game against Celtic , where will I get a decent pint

    of Guinness ?

    Hi Pop Doran...

Yer boy is doing a great job here, and will be our match-winner when we play Celtic - maybe even in the cup as well.

Johnny Foxes is the place in Inverness for a decent pint of Guiness - plus you'll probably meet half his team-mates in there too!

  6. I thought Shane did ok today and more than justified his selection. I agree his physical presence would be better deployed in a more central role, but given our depleted squad at the moment TB's options are somewhat limited.

  7. Marvellous win today and a priceless 3 points given our severely depleted squad. Great team effort, the commitment and never say die attitude from all the players was spot on.

Two suspensions have now been served and with players like Hayes, Shinnie and Ross close to returning from injury, a first ever SPL Top 6 finish is still a very realistic target for ICT.

  8. ------------------------ Esson------------------------------

    Duff-----------Tokely----------Hogg----- -----------Proctor

    Odhiambo------Cox--------Duncan--------- -----Doran

    -------------------------Foran-----------------------------

    -------------------------Rooney-----------------------------

TB saying in this morning's P&J he can't afford the luxury of playing Foran alonsgide Rooney. I think that's a mistake. Given our defensive frailties we should be set up for all out attack.

  9. Good preview Mannie  even if you're a tad pessimistic with your predictions for the outcome.

I think our attitude and commitment will see us pick up at least 1 point, if not all 3. I would certainly be confidently predicting a win if we had a fully fit Jonny Hayes in our line-up. Our recent run of poor results have a lot to do with his injury woes.

  10. So our long hold onto 5th position came to an end tonight, as Motherwell beat Aberdeen. Having not won in 11, im rather surprised we have held onto it for so long, although other teams have games in hand.

Could get a whole lot worse on Saturday if we are beaten by the boys from Perth, and Dundee Utd get a win.

Heres to getting back to winning ways on Saturday and climbing back up the league before falling down. Just hope injuries and suspensions give us better options for it :ictscarf:

I agree.... that result hasn't done us any favours.

  11. Sorry, but I don't care who the administrator was or how well respected he might be, but if you are overseeing a business that is in administration then continuing to run it at a loss is not ensuring that creditors are going to get the best possible deal. What's more, I fail to see how running at a loss can be considered "ensuring viability".

I've got a bank manager who sounds exactly like you.

  12. Quote from the P&J 1st of Feb :

Butcher said: ?Chris gives us great competition.

?He is available to play against Dundee United and he is not cup-tied either as he was not involved with Hibs.

?The board have been fantastic to allow me to bring in three new players.

?It is nice to look around and see new faces in the dressing-room.

?The players have come from different clubs north and south of the border and it freshens everything up which is good.

?We have Grant Munro out suspended for three games and Ross Tokely out for two games and we have others who are near suspension.

  13. If I've read the SFA website correctly Munro will miss the league games against, St Mirren, St Johnstone & Hibs and Rossco will only miss the St Mirren trip.

I'm pretty sure that Rossco will still be suspended for the St Johnstone game.

  14. Wouldnt be much fun if we all agreed top 6 would it? However personally I feel that Gaelic should have to tighten their belts like the rest of us. In normal schools belts are really having to be tightened and there is a question of fairness here.Investment should be made in all our children no matter what language they speak imho.

And that really is the nub of the matter, is it not?
