He's certainly on the rack....
Excellent performance from Scotland - in fact the best I've seen for years. They should have been at least 3 up at half time.

Esson
Proctor, Innes, Hogg, Shinnie
Ross, Cox, Duncan, Doran
Foran, Rooney
Assuming Nick Ross is fit, I like the look of that. If he is ruled out I'd bring in young MacDonald, who I thought looked good for the ten minutes, or so he played on Saturday.

What has this got to do with ICT????????
Can one of the mods move this to General Nonsense please
dougal
As far as our support is concerned, IHE is an ICT legend.
Something you'll never be....

I'd prefer to see us get Rangers next but as 10 man Celtic outplayed Rangers for most of today's game, I expect it will be the Hoops.
Hopefully by the time it comes around, our new boys will be well established in the side - they certainly all got off to decent start yesterday, and if we can add a "fit and raring to go" Jonny Hayes back into the side, you would have to fancy our chances against anyone.

United v Well
St Mirren v Dons
ICT v Old Firm
Brechin v Perth or Partick
Bit disrespectful to Dunfermline is it not
Good spot, Alex....
That's probably how he beat you to the post.

I don't think Tuffey would let us down, but I agree with SMEE...
It has to be Numero Uno.
-
Yeap.... So many OF fans living in and around Inverness.
-
If the OF replay is anything like today's game there could be several players unavailable through suspension by the time the winners of the tie come here.
-
So which half of the OF would you prefer to face?
Gers look more beatable.
Tokely up against Diouf...

Rangers or Celtic!!!
Would have preferred Brechin or Partick.

2-2. Great game for the TV viewers.
Probably good too for all concerned that they've got to battle it out all over again.

Aye...its a good game. Never a sending off tho. Keeper clearly attempted to get the ball....which was well out of Naismmiths control. Id have sed Bougherras lunging tackle with studs up was more of a sending off.
Totally agree, Smee....
There was nothing malicious in the keeper attempting to get the ball. I thought strictly speaking it was a penalty as Naismith did get the last touch,
The punishment for this kind of "offence" is very, very harsh - not only is it a penalty, it's a red card, and the offender is also suspended for his next game.
The penalty award should be sufficient punishment.

Cracker of a game from Ibrox....
Rangers 2-1 up at halftime thanks to a penalty which saw Celtic's keeper red-carded. Looks like they'll be joining us in the next round.

He actually struck the ball well enough with his right foot - it was just a tad unfortunate that it took such a wicked deflection off his left foot!

i am sure we will see this miss many times over the next few years. luckily we were well ahead so we had a good laugh. great cross from Proctor.
I don't think we would have found it quite so funny if it happened with the score at 0-0, and 3 minutes left on the clock!

Congratulations on your century, Johndo!!
At last, we have irrefutable proof that vodka and coke is actually good for you.
Anyone seen him lately?
-
Just seen the highlights of Buckie v Brechin...
What a fantastic goal by Rory!
-
He damaged his wrist in a collision.... Looked in a lot of pain, so it could be broken.

At Ibrox tomorrow pm. Think it may be 2.30pm but not sure.
Straight after the Old Filth game, I believe.

Foran was much more effective in a sriking role alongside Rooney. Hogg, Doran and McDonald were all excellent and will prove to be very shrewd signings by TB.
Good performance too from Russel Duncan, who I hope has done enough to earn himself a start against Midden - and the rest.
-
The performance for me was more important than the scoreline. The new boys gave the team a real boost - Chris Hogg was superb, Doran was excellent, and although Macdonald was only on for 10 minutes, he did enough to suggest he'll do just fine here. He reminded me of Jonny Hayes. It was like someone forget to tell the new trio how bad we are supposed to perform at home.
TB has some interesting problems to face up to now - like who's he going to leave out for the up-coming games against both the Saints?
Good game today all the same, with a performance which could rekindle our season, and get us back into contention for a Top 6 spot.... Even if was only Morton - and let's face it, we struggled to beat them last time we played them at home.
-
Actually starting to look like a good day for the footie.
Hopefully our fans will turn out in good numbers for this one. I'm confidently expecting the team will get a huge lift from the 3 new signings, who, thanks to injuries and Munro's suspension, will probably all start.
Go Caley Go!!!

Looks like it's been dry overnight - surely the pitch will pass inspection?

You've got to feel sorry for JT....
Could be on the wrong end of an embarrasing scoreline.
