  1. Full report now added to the site. http://caleythistleonline.com/page/index.html/_/reports-2011-12/ict-v-rangers-report-r921 thanks to ginger jaggy for suffering the game again to write the report
  2. It's good, but it's not a club game
  3. I would also like to say something. Take your head out of the sand and see the reality of the situation. I'm all for happy clapping, but theres not much to clap about at the moment. That does not make me a worse supporter, but it does not make me a happy bunny either.
  4. Good progress shown by Graeme, well deserved recognition.

Luke, you are turning into an ostrich. We are rank rotten just now and our defensive frailties are the worst ever since we entered the SPL in 2004. There are reasons for that, but the statistics show that we are where we deserve to be, regardless of how we achieve that. The Pars will save us, but that will be as good as it gets this season.
  6. DD, the manner and regularity with which we are capitulating this season is disturbing. It must rank as our poorest defensive statistical performances yet. Am I concerned, yes. Our goal difference is not good and it took a hammering today. Knee jerk............not from me, this has been coming all season and I don't see an end to it. We should stay up though because Dunfermline are pathetic. Top-Six. We can forget that for a long time at this rate.

Rangers Aberdeen Hearts Falkirk ----------all 0-3 Lost 4 goals twice, Aberdeen and Killie, 3-4

Probably right, I am struggling to think of losing 4 goals at home in spl before. We have lost 3-0 to Rangers before.
  9. We can write it off Luke, but I don't see that anything will improve given the same options when we play United, I fear another 4 goal hammering. Butcher needs new options and Tokely back at the heart of the defence if Golobart is still out. If not, we could be in for a tense end to the season.
  10. No, we probably have a better record against rangers over the years, especially in league games.
  11. Stop protecting Tansey, he has been useless practically all season. Came here with a reputation for banging home spectacular free kicks and long range efforts, and well, I'm still waiting. 99% of his free kicks have been atrocious. His corners more often hit the first defender, ( not alone there) and very little exciting happens when he is on the ball. He has had maybe two games where he was better than average and other than that, not worth staying here for another season.
  12. Do we ever practice these free kicks, just another shambles of a move.
  13. A handy free kick, aye right
  14. Are our throw-ins getting worse, surely not, they can't possibly.........can they?
  15. Christ almighty, brilliant pass from Tansey for a change and Hayes miscontrols...........meh
  16. Deep breath.................AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH That's better, just needed that. We are like headless chickens, yet we still had a few half snippets that went abegging. The usual crap passing, poor shooting, aimless punts and inability to finish off moves, it's so frustrating it really is annoying.
  17. Just as well for Tansey, his first attempt was another shocker of a ball not even reaching the first defender, well done Williams.
  18. Whats the point, we can't even compete with a fourth rate Rangers side, disgrace to the jersey and some of these guys need to take a long hard look at themselves. Relegation form this.
  19. our final balls are embarrassing
  20. how gas are we, what the hell is wrong bwith Rossco?

    Calor gas, television.
  22. http://caleythistleonline.com/page/index.html/_/previews-2011-12/inverness-ct-v-rangers-preview-r920 Ginger Jaggy has a scathing preview published to whet your appetite for tomorrows clash with the once mighty Glasgow Rangers. Welcome to our world, the one where clubs have no money, low attendances, local people that support their local team, don't win major trophies, don't bleed the rest of the clubs dry, sing when we lose, cringe at the transfer window when our top players get bought out, struggle to stay afloat and try to avoid relegation every season. Still, it's good to know that living within ones means and honesty are rewarded, and when the taxman knocks we can all sleep easy. Still, the job on the park has to be done and we need to get the finger out. Have a swatch.....................
  23. Yes, I left it open for you to reply, I'm no bad like that mun. I let you speculate when it will be closed.
  24. No point having a discussion forum then. I'm off to close all open topics. And we finished 12 points ahead. I believe from 17th January, we had a 27 point turnaround, we were fifth in the table 15 points behind Dundee, albeit with 2 games in hand over them. 27th of March we hit the front and the rest is history. Our goal difference took a massive turn for the better (+40) and we ran away with the league, County finishing 5th, 17 points behind us.
