    what age

crusher was on a programme called I spy , (or something like that) representing Drakies, and he said they were cheated as they answered a question correctly, but they stopped filming for some reason, when they restarted, the other team then answered the same question, and won the contest. Great what you can do with a bit of editing. I will get him to add to this and enlarge on the underhand ways of the TV producers. Tell us about the costumes....

  13. Oops, did I tread on your toes with ma hobnailed slippers. You are only annoyed cos ye were sober, perish the thought. You cannae gie Wilson full marks, he only played for the last half hour. My thread initially sterted as a reaction to some negative vibes on the olde site, I then had to explain my thought by adding some comments on the way the game unfolded. We seem to have been at the same game though, as we both agree we had the chances but did not take them. We will have to up the smillie count to ten, it will give a more accurate account of the individual performances. Easier to spot the good from the bad, like me and you   You must have been taking notes during the game.....is that not cheating, or is yer memory going...and, You must have been taking notes during the game.....is that not cheating, or is yer memory going :?: Anyway good shout, Motherwell for you. :)

  15. Hmmn, the word free view kind of gave it away, yes it was free. And like I thought, we missed a lot of chances.
  16. Channel 429, free view before the Celtic Killie game. Dons just been on, maybe we will show soon. Get ready to moan after the break.

    Why boo Hissy?

I would imagine that pro footballers would expect that sort of reaction from former fans, albeit not an endearing thing to do, it is like a form of affection. He is a decent guy and I know he reads the forums. Hissy, we lub u really
  21. Yes I am all for blooding one or two guys, but the balance between that and getting results will have the boo boys singing
  22. A defeat by Livi and the doom & gloom boys are at it already. There was even a guy somewhere behind me shouting for Charlie to go.....unbelievable. Seats get damaged, allegedly, talk of us playing rubbish, how could Livi possibly beat us, we should be beating teams like that, the ref was against us.....(well at least that part is true), a nightmare, meaningless games ahead, squad rotation, we were shite, genuine three pointer what went wrong, peoples brains being done in, our season is now fecked, the list goes on............woahhh, hold on a minute, sit back and listen to ourselves. When did we ever have the divine right to just turn up and walk away with three points in the back pocket, never. We had an away fixture in the SPL and we lost to the home team. Thats all that happened, nothing sinister, no wrong doings, no cheating, although the ref tried hard to spoil the game, no pathetic performances, nothing..............WE LOST A BLOODY GAME, THATS ALL THAT HAPPENED, gosh, look at me, I'm shouting now. I am as disappointed as anyone about the result, but take a step back and reflect on the game. It was a reasonably entertaining affair with Livi starting brightly and threatening our goal in the first few minutes, Brown looking lively to push a couple of attempts away We eventually got to grips with it and Barry had an effort pushed wide for a corner, from the resultant cross, Tokely rose highest to power a header home, here we go, chants of easy and all the usual tomfoolery. Wee Hoolihan though was turning Morgan inside out a few times and Whelan, despite the moronic chants of Alkie, led their line well, he crossed for Britten to power a header from the floated cross high into the net, good finish. Dargo missed an opportunity to make Mackenzie work after a neat cut back from Rossco, but he skied the ball, best chance of the game so far. Second half belonged to us, apart from scoring more goals than them, a sort of pre requisite of winning the match. We passed on numerous attempts to score, Wyness the main culprit, having one cleared off the line, should have done better, must try harder on his report card. We bacame more and more frantic in our attempts to score as the game wore on, we had a complete stranglehold on the game, or so we thought, surely Livi, the worst team on earth would not have the temerity to score against the MIGHTY ICT, or would they. Couple of touches up the park and ball nestled neatly behind Scotland Scotlands number one. They hardly showed in this half yet our dreams were in tatters....what a cheek they had, beating the MIGHTY ICT. We became more desperate, Rory replacing Hart and the poor lad was caught cold a couple of times, rushing a couple of attempts but almost redeeming himself with a flashing header near the end. In fact had it not been for Tokelys tackle of the year, I kid you not, they might have finished us off big style, what a tackle you have there big boy. Still, we gave it a go but the final whistle ended our hopes, or was it the Dons winning, either way we will not be in the top six. What a crushing anti climax for some guys, however, cheer up, worse things happen at sea. The game was entertaining, probably exciting, maybe not the most skillful you will witness, but it had an edge to it, and the only thing that was wrong for me was the result. So, get it off your chest now, come on here, have your moan, then get back to reality. We are still in the SPL, and no one can stop us doing it all over again next year. Top six, Europe, winning cups..........come on, without knocking our clubs ambitions, can anyone really see us being anywhere else in the league, we have arrived, this is about as good as it will get for the foreseeable future, the downside will come when we are staving off relegation, then we will have something to moan about. If you attended yesterdays game, you would have seen the effort the guys put in, and we can't really grudge poor old Livi their points, they battled equally as hard and got their reward. Disappointed, yes.........disgruntled no. :bawling: edited to add the word allegedly
  23. not half
  24. wow, a new forum, and by far the trickiest
  25. Arabs avoid relegation The south stand at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium was a sea of orange as 2400 Dundee United fans tried to sing and shout their team to SPL survival. Livingston, Dundee and Dundee United were all in the relegation frame and the permutations were discussed at length around the country. Hold-ups on the A9 delayed the Inverness kick-off by ten minutes. For Caley Thistle it was a strange afternoon. Seventh place was looking unlikely but it was still possible if Dunfermline beat Kilmarnock. In the end Killie won 4-0. This was never going to be a football classic but there was plenty of effort. United's Grant Brebner headed over in two minutes and in nine minutes former Caley Thistle favourite Barry Robson ran down the left and set up Mark Kerr but his low shot was pushed away by Mark Brown. At the United end last weeks goal hero Liam Fox took a Bryan Prunty pass and tried a 20 yard volley in the 18th minute, it dipped goalwards but went just over. A Robson free kick in 24 minutes seemed to go over for a goal kick but Alan Archibald headed it back across goal and Brown was forced to tip it over for a corner and the corner stood despite protests. Just before the break a Mark Wilson ball from the right crossed the ICT area and reached Robson - his first time goal-bound shot was held by Brown. Half Time: 0-0 Richie Hart low shot was blocked in 49 minutes then a Hart 30 yard free kick went straight through to Tony Bullock. A good move in 53 minutes ended when a Brewster chip across goal was headed clear by Garry Kenneth. Brewster came close in 65 minutes when Bullock missed an Ian Black corner from the right but the player/managers header crept past the empty goal. A goal-less draw looked on the cards until the 82nd minute when Robson went down in the box after a brush with Ross Tokely. There seemed nothing in it but Alan Freeland gave a penalty. Robson scored and the stewards were helpless to prevent an orange pitch invasion. When order was restored United fans started a celebratory conga in the stand as their side held on to win. In added time Robson went down alongside Darren Dods but it was clearly a dive. Robson had been booked for dissent in the first half so a second yellow led inevitably to the long walk. The whistle went, United were safe and a second pitch invasion began. Full Time: 0-1 The Caley Thistle fans were disappointed to take so little from the five matches since the split but the job had been completed. SPL football would be back in Inverness next season and the players could head off for a well deserved holiday in Magaluf. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Inverness CT: 0 Team: Brown; Tokely, Dods, Munro, Hastings, Hart (McAllister 73), Black, Fox, Golabek, Prunty (Wilson 60), Bayne (Brewster 33).
