A nice tribute Scotty, I remember them both from the early away days, a lovely couple. Condolences to Kay and her family.

Carlos Heredia was No10 trialist scoring twice. Dominican Republic player
Charlie Frost was trialist No9. A North West Counties side, Nelson, scorer of 34 goals last season.
I wonder if one of them could end up a marquee signing

Kels will be checking out the Highland League players

Good news Paul has signed on again
things are looking good.

Good luck to Musa although only time will tell if it has been a good move for him, I just wonder if it has been a good move for his agent regarding signing on fees.

Piping solo and bands, most Scottish and Irish music for me on the folk side my favourite. After doing my DNA on Ancestry I am 33 percent Irish so it confirms my leaning to the Irish side.
-
And you even get Mantis in the video
I have heard them on Radio Scotland and like the music. Back to Runrig I preferred Bruce Guthro to Donnie Munro.

Welcome back

Great to hear how things have gone with the process and to hear Alan speak about moving the club forward is so different to a year ago. A year ago I refused to buy my season ticket along with many others until a certain person left the club but I am looking forward to renewing this year!

Press conference tomorrow - just received a note from the club:
"Mr James Stephen from BDO and Mr Alan Savage will be hosting a press conference in person at the Caledonian Stadium at 4.30pm tomorrow"
Also have it in my calendar that there is an online call for shareholders (or should that now be ex-shareholders) at 2pm.
That’s good news. I hope it’s the start of rebuilding the club and we get our invite to purchase our season tickets.

BC,
not sure Roy from InverGordon has plans to reduce his involvement. invergordon fc to have their ground updated, get into the highland league and be used as a feeder club playing RC academy players.
Ground
The club's original ground was the old "Blackpark" (now part of Invergordon Distillery), before they moved to their current playing field at the town's Recreation Grounds.
In January 2025, the club applied for planning permission to upgrade the ground, including building a stand, floodlights, dugouts and a fence.[4]
Your point regarding competition for fans………… is it time for another merger ???
ICT + RC = Highland FC. or inverness Caledonian thistle county has a ring to it.
Not sure what tuppence is worth these days but that’s just my xxxxxx worth.
You will need more than a couch to hide behind there
not another one!

I am not fussed about Jack Newman after the comments made when he was released due to administration. I think he was offered a contract on the understanding that we would be training at Kelty but I might be wrong on that one.

They have lost the fight after 3 relegation battles and deserve to go down based on results. If I remember right on the last vote to expand the Premier league Ross County voted against it, They might regret that vote (if I am right). Although I hope we can get promoted next season although a long shot, but we can do it
, we might get our local derbies back! The winner tonight was the central belt who will not have to travel up the A9 next season, a sad day for north football

Never liked Aberdeen but delighted for Graeme Shinnie lifting the trophy again as he was a great player for us.

Jake Davidson?
Jake along with Lewis Nicolson and Ben Corner have been offered deals until January 2026 to allow them to continue with rehab and hopefully return to match play according to Charlie Christie. This is a huge positive from the club in relation to what’s happened with injured players previously.

So we can look forward to winding Dick Campbell up again!
Not upset at seeing Annan going down as it saves one marathon journey for the team.
I hope Christmas comes early for us again

I do hope the other four will follow on and stay.

I am sure there will be some objections from the people at the top end about loosing green space but it is a large area and there is a need for housing if it is not to many for that area. My parents lived at number 180 for a good number of years and from their back garden it was just open space to the canal that was mainly used for the youths on motorbikes in the evenings which did annoy them but that was many years ago. Hope it wasn't you Caley D

tm4tj has finally had a well earned day off with our league finished for the season. I remember when he worked a four day week, I bet he would like to do that again
It will seem a bit strange with play offs and other football still going on tomorrow we will be thankfully looking from outside waiting to see what the setup will be for next season. With the weather we have had recently it brings a thought for summer football but it's not likely to happen in my lifetime. I will be busy in the garden and check the results later and no PotY or stats to do tomorrow
Hope you all have a good day.

Keith Bray PotY
Keith has had a great season picking up points for outstanding performances throughout the season, scoring 11 goals including a hat-trick away to Cove Rangers. He picked up two yellow cards in the season, and has been a tremendous all round player for the team on the ground or in the air. Keith also won the Official ICTFC Young Player of the Year Award x2, voted by the players and by the fans. What a season for the young man from the Western Isles!
He signed a four year contract with Dunfermline in January and were lucky to keep the young man for the second half of the season to help us remain in this league avoiding the play-offs. Good luck for the next stage of your development, I'm sure with your commitment and focus you will go on to greater things.

Aaron Doran Testimonial v Ross County
in Caley Thistle

Looking forward to this game and seeing Aaron in an ICT shirt again although it will be for the last time, I hope there is a good turnout for him and it will be good getting back to the football again.
