Agree with Kencar, survival must be No 1 Priority. Similar aspirations as last year challenging for top six would be great but with a more even split of points home and away, I can't see us being quite as good on the points tally away from home

this reminds me of Robert Conner at Aberdeen who was slated by the fans every time he played. Every team needs these type of players they are only appreciated when not playing ,fans say we are crap today why? its these players who do the donkey work and are unappreciated except for their fellow pros, yes they may give the ball away, take the wrong option from time to time but we need them

the 2 players spoken to have decided to stay and fight for their place both contracts run out at the end of next season

I am happy at the moment to consolidate in the spl and then if finances /crowds grow look to the top 4 Mark Brown I would hope will stay but if not hey lets move on i am sure we can find a good replacement out there .mabye Fraser could step up to the mark

Lets all be realistic in the eyes of the rest of the SPL we are and always will be the wee team from up north and will be fair game for poaching our best players. The problem we always have is enticing players from other spl clubs to move up. We will always have to rely on picking up young players or others not in regular first team action at their clubs or picking up ambitious players from the lower leagues who will use us as a stepping stone to so called bigger clubs.
