    Haha!
  2. Im in agreement with CaleyD. Another point is that because everyone slates him, then everyone are always watching out for him. OK he makes a good few mistakes, but who in our team doesnt? Munro has had a number of absolute howlers this season....worst one probably against Motherwell - kick the air for sheridan to score! If that was Lionel, all hell would break loose. The guys lacking in confidence...but theres been times ive liked his play, hes calm, takes on guys, plays the ball, isnt afraid to travel with ball and get up and attacking....add a bit confidence, he could be a good strong Left-Back.

Did some amount of running about, might have been hot. I like him, i always wish him to do well aswell, had a good couple of chances today but unfortunatley fluffed them both. I did rate him against St Mirren last week though, his pace down that wing was unreal. If things went right we could have 3 or 4 goals from his crosses in, even tried a few on goal himself.
  4. ---------------Esson-------------- Proctor--Tokely---Munro---Djebi-zadi McBain----Kerr-----Black----Imrie---- ----------Morais----Foran---------- Dont know how close or identical this is to todays line-up, cant remember. I am also in agreement about Barrowman...id like to see him on after an hour and give him something. Partnering a decent striker like Foran would be good for the guy. McBain needs to get back to being noticed like he was last week, otherwise he'll be axed aswell.
  5. whats the point in a pre-contract then? if the player can bin it, im sure the team probably could aswell? its as good as a handshake probably!
  6. Hearts are ripping up peoples contracts in the last week, i can name two, and both were or still are planning on suing....and they still plan to bring more people in? whos idea from tynecastle was it to sign black? who spotted him?
  7. There are a few things the club could do to keep him, I believe one is in place at the moment and that is Butcher, Blackie likes him as a person as well as respecting him as a manager. The second would go a long way, get Butcher signed as manager long term, they will need to match Hearts wages (dont know what he has been offered), Butcher has made it clear he wants him but until he knows they are safe and what money will be available to him, what can he do. As said previously he loves Inverness, likes the people, so as usual all down to the Board of ICT. This sounds brilliant, and seein as i know you know your stuff Gillian, i am going to say i belive ya! Id love the thought of Butcher long term. It obviously was a problem Black had with Brewster, but i cant see many of the players disrespecting a manager like Butcher. Its obvious any club in the relegation zone just now cant make hefty decisions or renew contracts. Another thing that springs to mind though - if Hearts dont make third, dont get the money for europe, surely Romanov isnt going to bring too many new people in? what if they dont have the money for new players and its all off with Black?
  8. some classics!!
  9. I respect Kenny Clark. Could be a good thing a fair respected ref, although i really hope it doesnt come down to a relegation final day battle. id rather beat falkirk and save killie or midden and be the decider and send falkirk down
  10. Grrrrr ive got a late gig on saturday, and the games on setanta! im desperate to come up but cant see it worth it. ill be at motherwell and kilmarnock after that, but still dying to come up!
  11. Well done Blackie! Will be a big loss. Ill always look out for him in the future!
  12. Black, Mihadjuks, Morais, Foran, Kerr, few other players id like to keep but think they are still contracted. Im looking forward to seeing who Butcher brings in extra though. Foran and Kerr have become vital to the club, who else does he have up his sleeve?
  13. i didnt expect this at all. i go the new home strip for my xmas from the girl, and i laughed and said 'cheers very much, but we are gonna get relegated' and i saw no hope. but from then on, the players were obviously hungry! when brew got sacked, i was one for bringing back John Robertson. I firmly believe he would have done it, but who would have thought we would be where we are just now, back in january. Motherwell and the two Falkirk games were utter disappointments for me, but apart from that, Rangers game, 2 st mirren games, Kilmarnock, all thoroughly enjoyable! Lets keep it going though. Win on Sunday and ill be utterly ecstatic. Go on Kilmarnock aswell.
  14. agreed - it should be the fans the opposition teams hate to face, not just the stadium! st mirrens fans werent very noisy, especially after our goal. they perked up after jim hamilton scored, but after our winner nothing again. i dont want to be like that!!
  15. An incredible tackle, well done Fletcher. Just unfortunate Football decisions, as said, are still in the dark ages!! Ridiculous he misses the final, really feel for the fella!
  16. He was hoping that a few games ago, if we won our remaining four home games we would stay up! I think he should be hoping the other way about!
  17. Im sure its the Butcher connection that brought him in to the B squad. He said that Terry was the one that told after the St Mirren game. Apart from that i think he should be in the first squad. I love the guy, he will definitely always be one of my favourite ever caley player. I have got to get my black away strip signed by him before he goes...also to do with scoring THAT penalty at Ibrox!
  18. new page looks mint Scotty, glad i made this thread. Will be perfect when finished! Im going to go joint favourtie for home and away tops years 06/07 and 07/08. Also love home 97/98, was the first strip my brother brought into the household.
  19. i have that strip with '24 Rankin' on the back. That and the flybe.com one of the same year are for me! it would be perfect to get that full page complete! list it on your things to do list
  20. I have started collecting Caley Thistle strips and have a fair few now, including old ones that i already had from new. Just got me thinking, what do you think our best looking strip has been? I think im edging to more recent years, the 07/08 home strip, red and blue block stripes, flybe.com sponsor rather than the onetouch...although i have them both, the flybe.com sponsor looks a tad better. your opinion? Pics might be even more helpful.
  21. lady gaga was playing on the tannoy at half time, and they joined as they did every song at half time....they then carried those songs as chants during the second half. cracked me up!!
  22. We have been through this before though...Butcher after the Gers game said he doesnt understand why blackie wants to leave, and that his contract aint legally binding anyway. Blackie was then quick as a flash to deny any reports he will be staying, and that he will definitely be going to Hearts. I see no hope, although i bet he has thought about the Butcher-Scotland connection.

I have now been to 5 ICT games this year... Rangers away, Kilmarnock home, St Mirren home, Hamilton home and St Mirren away. Every one of these matches i went to we were undefeated. Also, every one of those matches, bar hamilton, i had my current 08/09 home strip on, and we won them all. I was hospitality for the Hamilton game so had a suit one, and we drew...im wondering if i wore my home strip we would have got a the full 3 points that day any of you guys do anything for superstition before a Caley game?
  24. Please tell me what the history is, I know he played for Tynecastle Boys Club, under his father, was coached by him until he left for Blackburn Rovers, did not go initative because the coaching he had with his father was regarded as the best, having done my home work today his father has just won the scottish cup with his team again, seemingly several times. He is not a hearts supporter, his dad played for them but Blackie and his whole family are Man U season ticket holders and have been for over 10years. So please tell me what the history is. youve just told me the history, why would i tell you again? i know hes not a hearts supporter, but i knew everything youve just said aswell....that is history.
  25. i am still undecided about coming up...long journey for a game thats on the tele, but after the performance on saturday its making me think otherwise!! play like that again ill definitely show my support. so if im up, ill be doing this!
