On the SFA website, the venue is confirmed as Hampden Park for Aberdeen/Rangers v Celtic, but there is no such confirmation for Partick Thistle/Hearts v Inverness CT. I've just emailed them asking for confirmation that Hampden will be the venue for both. I'll let you know the response.
My mail actually finished with "Can you confirm that regardless of the outcome(s) of the replays, that both semi-finals will take place at Hampden Park?". They therefore needed to reply with either "yes" (it'll definitely be at Hampden), or "no" (we can't say).
Unsurprisingly, in the 8 days between me mailing them and the announcement of the details, nobody at the SFA managed to find the time to do this.

..... and the SFA have chosen to exercise their right to do so. Its not a week-by-week decision, its a decision made, ahead of time, for the whole season although the SFA have set a few exception dates (for Scotland games I think). Nothing can be broadcast on TV between 2:45pm and 5:15pm on a Saturday unless its on one of those exception dates. Theoretically you could have a kickoff up to about 12:45 on a Saturday and still have enough time to get it finished before the 2:45pm blackout comes into effect ... that extra half-hour might have been quite useful for an early kick-off especiailly if bus or train times need to be taken into account.
I did not realise that only Scotland, England and Montenegro actually applied these rules .... This article gives a decent overview
https://www.lawinsport.com/topics/articles/item/what-is-the-black-out-rule-in-football-and-is-it-lawfulIn July last year, if the SFA had added 13 April 2019 to the list of exceptions, we could have a later kick-off, and they could still televise it live. I can't see anyone that would otherwise have been going to a game, either spectating or playing, deciding to stay in and watch our semi-final instead.
For next year, they just need to decide if it's going to be 11 April, or 18 April (as it was in 2015) - I would have thought they could figure that out in the next 4 months.

It's UEFA Article 48 that prevents it, so outwith the powers of the SFA or the SPFL; even if they cleared all other games.
https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/about-uefa/news/newsid=19817.html
That's not the case. UEFA Article 48 allows member associations to apply a block on Saturdays or Sundays if they wish to do so.

Easter Road for me. Let's remember we weren't at Hampden for the last SC semi and we got to the final and also the last semi we played at Easter Road we go to the final, so double luck omen here!
We weren't at Hampden? It looked like it to me.

I’ve emailed also. May not get a response but might get some traction for them to get the collective digit out and announce. About 6 hours ago so interesting to see what their timings are....
I've had no response from them today.

You know what that will mean if its Hearts it will be a neutral venue at Easter Road!
Pah! It didn't help them last time! The pitch was a bit crowded at first, but once Warren and Meekings came off, there was a bit more room for Ross to manoeuvre.
But since I've booked accommodation for seven of us for both the Saturday and Sunday nights in Glasgow, I'd rather not be running to Edinburgh for the match.

That statement a bit of a worry? If PT will they move to another venue?

2Also we have played 6 games in the cup. Hearts/Partick have played 3. Much more likely for us to be picking up suspensions.
Which is why 2 yellows would be enough for any of their players to be suspended:
3 yellows if the club entered up to round 3.
2 yellows if the club entered after round 3. -

No. He’s already got 3 so will be banned. All the players in the semi start on 0 cautions.
That's how I read it - he's already met the criterion to be banned.

I hope the board are happy with themselves!!! Just cost us a shot at the play offs by selling a striker without a replacement, how amateurish can they get!!!?
Its likely now that we will end up with a free agent such as Rory Deacon or Sofien Moussa!
To say I'm pissed off is an understatement!!!
Well Roarie (yes, that's how you spell it) Deacon, or Sofien Moussa would seem to be free agents, so if they're within the budget, I wouldn't automatically object. Moussa, in particular, seems okay on his stats. Do you have any special problem with either of them?

Oh dear - Gorgeous George gone and, now the nerds find the %s to justify. Why? act The ladies are bereft that gorgeous George is with Hamilton. Will the ladies follow Hamilton? Time will tell.
No, Lizi, they won't. George is off to follow his hero, Douglas.
Recently arrived is Darren. Although I was at Falkirk on Saturday, I can't attest to how gorgeous or otherwise Darren is. Darren, however, will attract the ladies (and other women, and some men) using his abilities to score goals and provide assists. Don't love George, love Darren (and all those other boys, all the way back to Cammy). Cammy will probably know when he's going to play before the team lines are published from now on, so may start with a bit more confidence.

They have an Oyster Catcher on their badge - what the significance is I do not know. Maybe someone could enlighten me !
According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Kilbride_F.C.#Badge
"The badge for the new club features the oystercatcher bird and also the colour red, symbols of St Bridgit, after whom East Kilbride is named, cill being the Gaelic word for a religious cell, which was the common form of ancient Celtic religious organisation, thus Kilbride being the religious cell associated with St Bridgit/St Bride. East to distinguish from West Kilbride in Ayrshire."

What a wonderfully exhilarating and frustrating couple of weeks that was - the massed fans reception for the team arrival back at Renfrew airport was fantastic, any travellers passing through there must have thought we'd won the darn thing!
That must have been Scotland's earliest ever World Cup exit: Renfrew Airport closed in 1966.

Sincerely doubt it but County's demise maybe makes it more likely that we will see Vigurs in an ICT shirt again next season and beyond which certainly pleases me.
I was thinking exactly that as I typed my original list.

This may be of some use. Montrose is nearest railway station then a bus.
The nearest railway station is Brechin (5 minutes walk away) if you come from Bridge of Dun by the Caledonian Railway.
