  1. It looks certain that the game won't go ahead on saturday.
  2. The Pitch was playable, but the police thought the conditions were too dangerous, sound familair? HERE!
  3. I think that Coyle should of stayed at Burnley. Although I can understand why he did leave, as he was a good player for them. It is a big gamble moving to Bolton. Burnley were playing good football under Coyle, and were a solid team, that were hard to break down. It's going to be a big challenge for Coyle to get the Bolton players playing the way he wants them to, and getting them playing well together. And, according to Megson on football focus last saturday, he said that Bolton didn't have that much money to spend in January, so he wont be able to bring in any big players . He will have to work with the ones he's got. Or maybe, he will bring a few of his ex players to Bolton. In my Oppion, it isn't worth the gamble. He had more chance of keeping Burnley up, than Bolton.
  4. Come on then, enlighten us. Who is this source?
  5. I don't see any point in changing the football calendar. If it was the other way about, there'd be people complaining about potential heatstroke for the players and that too many fans can't make it because they're on their summer holidays. As for your recent attendances argument, I'm pretty sure that traditionally we don't get big attendances over the Christmas and New Year holiday period. Yes. I was thinking about ICT and the first division... That is why this thread is in the ICT section. As the bigger clubs dont really need the break, as they can cope with the conditions, with all their technology, more ground stuff ect. If there was a winter break, there wouldn't be the problem with having to re-arrange games which is quite alot hassall.
  6. Celtic dominated first half. Fortune goal should of stood. Lafferty should of got sent off. Celtic aren't clinical enough. Rangers were lucky to get a point. FECK THE O.F
  7. Brillant news. We just have to win our games, and hope that the teams infront of us slip up again.
  8. McGregor was in the wrong, having a late night sesh with backwards Barry, But he is a good goalkeeper and is good cover for Gordon, simple as that. As for Barry Ferguson, he is a terrible footballer and can GTF
  9. Are you sure that's the reason he was calling you names, DJ? Yeah, positive. He was just stating how bad ICT were when ever I wore my ICT shirt, and he couldn't understand why I supported them.
  10. Nothing to do with the frankly s***e football product on display in stadia throughout Scotland? If pricing structures were to change nation-wide, I think you'd see fans coming out the woodwork - rain, hail or snow. Yeah i am not disagreeing with you about that, but bad conditions won't help. If you look at the average attendences around the country recently, of the games that actually went ahead, you will see that there has been quite a big decrease in attendences.
  11. Cheers for the info. It was my first ICT top, was a cracker
  12. I think its Dornoch Primary schools fault. Its either one side of the Old Firm you support, nobody else. He is probably just trying to fit it with the crowd. A certain, L . Andrews (your neighbour) used to call me names for supporting ICT, and wearing my ICT top to school
  13. Yes, Some fans are put off by the weather. There are many ICT fans that don't live locally, that wont risk there own lives to travell in such bad conditions. I was also thinking about the Away fans too.
  14. That is a shame. Don't worry Birdy, I used to be a Tim. But grew out of it, there is still hope. Funnily enough I suffered from the same affliction once myself, totally cured now though, hopefully it's just a phase. I am sure it will be. The cure it to take him to as many ICT games as possible, and don't buy him any Celtic things :(
  15. It has been debated for ages, But I just thought that since there had been soo many games cancelled due to the weather recently, who would be in favour of a break between December and January just to avoid most of the snow. I would be in favour of the break, it would solve the problem of re-arranging games and, clubs would benefit, the attendences wouldn't be as low, because the conditions for travelling fans would be better ect.
  16. That is a shame. Don't worry Birdy, I used to be a Tim. But grew out of it, there is still hope.
  17. It may be only in the SPL that Boyd is a proven goal scorer, but at least he is scoring regulary, which can't be said for most of the other strikers in the Scotland squad.
  18. Has he actually signed? If he has, what is your source?
  19. On the subject of previous shirts.. Does anyone remember the yellow and blue/ purple, away top? I think it was Scotrail who were our sponser at the time. It was my first ICT top, i can't find an image of it anywhere Edit - I could only find images of our previous home shirts, i'm pretty sure that it was 1999-2000 that it was out.
