  1. The good news is that Tulloch has not been taken over, they have just sold off the Construction division. Tulloch still exist as an independent company and still have the housebuilding division. And an extra £31m in the bank!

I say this is good news, because if they had been taken over, any new owners would quickly be asking why Tulloch have been "wasting" money and management time on a football club, and would soon put a stop to it.

  2. We have so many options in midfield now that there's just not enough space for them all. Hart and Morgan seem to be bottom of the pecking order at the moment, but we have seen examples before of players regaining first team places when at one stage they seemed surplus to requirements.

  3. Great guy, very entertaining. He taught us that snakes and crocodiles do not deserve their reputation as loathesome, evil creatures.

(ITS THE F*CKING STINGRAYS YOU SHOULD WORRY ABOUT!)

    TV legend, will be missed.

  4. Whichever, it is good news that he has decided to extend his stay. I admire him for doing so when it was evident that he could have increased his earnings significantly by getting a move.

However, his new contract will almost certainly contain an escape clause for him if a specified transfer fee is offered. As a result I don't expect him to see out all of this new contract, but at least the club should get a reasonable fee if he moves on.

  5. He had good scoring records at Dundee Utd, Hearts and Killie. It's only his County spell that has been a flop. The easy conclusion is that he is past it, but I'm sure he will be trying his hardest to show that he has something to offer.

Clearly he was quite far down Charlie's list of targets, but on a short term deal/trial basis at a time when we have injury problems upfront he is better than nothing.
